I never knew a lot about the YWCA but the first paragraph you see on their website speaks loudly. I too was homeless for a period in my life so I am a huge fan on organisation's and people that are all about helping our communities most vulnerable. I apologize for posting this paragraph but I believe in the services you guys offer as my own family has used these services themselves to improve our lives. Thank you to your organization and the many like yours that are here when we need them. I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for services like yours in the community. I now have a full time job, I have a good relationship with my kids. I am currently working towards getting my own place as well as the purchase of a vehicle. These programs work!

I couldn't stand living here, one of the tenants who was staying here left to live in a tent because she couldn't bare to live there any longer. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the roof over my head when I really needed it. The food in me and my daughters stomach when we couldn't afford it.
The attitude amongst many women who work there is just terrible. You have one slight reaction to anything they get hostile and corner you to make you feel small. They are always right and can never be wrong. You are a bad parent, that's why you are there. They always feel the need to tell you how to parent if it's not right in their eyes. Excuse me ma'am, I am a great parent compared to my own mother... I would say I am doing a great job. I wish these ladies treated everyone with respect, they always come in to work just miserable. I left and I will never suggest that place to anyone.. unless you're an ass kisser. Then.. be my guest.

Provided me with so much help... They help me find a home for me and my 3 children. VERY friendly and helpful. When covid started they got a hold of me to see if i needed a basket of cleaning supply, they go above to help

love that what i donate to them gets distributed FREE!!! not like value village where they over price things low income or new comers cant afford...thats why i donate to the ywca....it goes to people free of charge!
