Absolutely the worst place you could pick for swimming lessons. I’m beyond furious after what I saw. During the last session, instead of actually teaching or watching the kids, the male instructors were more interested in flirting and joking around with the female instructors. The moment one of the girls didn’t show up, the male instructor looked like he lost his purpose. Pathetic.

The so-called “instructors” spent most of their time gossiping and laughing on the sidelines while kids were left unattended in the water. It was shocking and completely unacceptable. This is NOT a place where any responsible parent should leave their child.

And don’t even get me started on the manager — completely useless. We raised our concerns, but the manager couldn’t care less. It honestly felt like they’re so used to complaints that they’ve just stopped listening.

I honestly have NO idea how this place has good reviews on Google — maybe fake reviews or people who caught them on a rare good day. But from what I saw, this place is a complete joke and a serious safety concern.

They won’t improve. They don’t care.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Not recommended — AT ALL.

Love the YMCA. Started going again in August. I need to do the Aquafit and this is the less expensive fitness pool location. Also, in time, I will enjoy the gym.

I was there for the gym- and besides the cable towers constantly being broken, the overall experience was not great.
1. large Groups of teens blocking machines for extended periods of time and being overly loud- basically hanging out, watching TikToks and filming themselves
2. Unsupervised small children running around, yelling, playing tag in between the machines while YMCA workers looked the other way.
Two tween Kids stole my locker room key and the workers didn’t even talk to their parents.
3. Two elder gentlemen were very pushy and approached me and a friend of mine to ask if I was ‚dating any cute Canadian guys‘. We were very uncomfortable and overall they got way too close.
4. Got yelled at by the front desk during the new years rush to „Wait. I will help you in a second“ while I was trying to scan in. Listen I get that everyone is stressed during that time, but I didn’t appreciate being shouted at and talked down to- even though I never asked for help and just wanted to scan in.

Overall the workers were very unfriendly, didn’t intervene at all when kids were running, yelling, being unsafe and almost always had an attitude.

Honorable mention: The women cleaning the women’s locker rooms are real sweethearts and I wish them the best. 🫶

Wasn’t pleased with the sauna very small five people kind of thing! So I’ll stay at the downtown location much better sort of Kinda . I noticed a very cold inside locker room and basement area. Didn’t like that specially if you’re wet.

Overall the gym is not bad, but honestly the management should be better organized! The stretching gym is constantly occupied by groups, and when after 7 pm it is not occupied and people want to come and work out, then inadequate parents grab their children there, who do whatever they want, play with exercise machines that are not intended for children, and prevent people from working out there! Despite the fact that children have their own playground! The staff does not respond to complaints and ignores them!
