YMCA Quarry Park Child Development Centre is a fantastic facility for young children. The staff are caring, professional, and highly engaged in fostering a nurturing and educational environment. The centre is clean, well-equipped, and offers a great mix of structured learning and playtime. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are in a safe and supportive space. Highly recommended for families looking for quality childcare!

Building is nice, some staff including the manager are unprofessional. They don’t care about your kid they don’t care if they can help families They only talk about policy which can make their work easier but sound like professional . They are not educators. They don’t know how to treat your kiddos they will ruin your child

Great place to children! There is gym, experience kitchen, huge backyard and a variety of break out spaces to play. The biggest and the best facility for children in Calgary.

If your child is “neurotypical,” then this place is pretty good — nice facility and staff. However if your child has some special needs, you won’t find any help here.

I’m not here to roast the place because I was minorly inconvenienced. It’s just that any additional help my kid needed was always responded with a lazy answer “apply for fscd” — as if I and thousands of other parents haven’t done that already.

I understand child care is hard and exhausting. But there needs to be a greater way to help some kids when need-be. For example, why are they forced to nap for 2 hrs? If your kid doesn’t nap, he/she is expected to roam the classroom alone when the other kids are sleeping. In response we’re told thats the case because lunch break is taken between those hours.

Why not just create two separate rooms: 1 for sleepers and another for non-sleepers. Also maybe have the staff take alternating breaks to accommodate? Just an idea.

End of the day, this isn’t a scathing review or admonishment, but it doesn’t always feel like the kids come first.

As mentioned, If your child is “neurotypical” and doesn’t need any additional assistance, this place is fine. However If your kid needs some extra support, they won’t lift a finger for you.

5 stars isn't enough for here. We have been here for 2 years and it has been amazing. My daughter loves her educators. The activities and outings are great fun. They spend lots of time outdoors. The staff are engaging and kind. I would and do recommend it to everyone!

The building is nice, but the stuff there are rude. They are also unprofessional. They have no idea how to be a educator, maybe babysitter are more suitable for them.

My daughters love it. They do a lot of arts and crafts and run a great educational program. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone seeking a safe and nurturing environment for their children. The spacious and clean facilities, along with the friendly and cooperative team, create an ideal atmosphere. Director's caring nature adds an extra layer of assurance. It's a place where children can thrive and parents can have peace of mind. Would highly recommend.

I have been going to this gym since last November and always enjoyed the fact it is quiet and not too busy. The past week I’ve gone, they have started blasting the music to tue point I have left the gym early. They are playing terrible intense music and when I go with my friends, we can’t hear each other. I can also hear it over my headphones when I’m by myself. This is overwhelming and I’ve gotten a headache both times. This is a family-friendly space and this is very inappropriate for a YMCA. I’m 24 and cannot put up with it, I cannot imagine being a child or elderly and having to experience this. If it continues I will be cancelling my membership and so will my friends.
