I was given a month pass recently and the YMCA did not disappoint. I love to swim and the pool has something for everyone, all day long. The gym has a good supply of equipment and can handle a large amount of people at one time comfortably. Clean, great environment and user friendly for anyone. I will be back.

This is by far the best gym facility that we've been to! It is massive, well laid out, modern, clean, and there is so much to do for families. The staff here are friendly and their child minding program is so handy for parents who need a break to get in a workout! Our kids love the Indoor Play area, bouncy castles and the pool. We are grateful for the subsidy memberships that they provide- especially for families who have experienced recent loss of work. Definitely worth checking out!

The fitness area at the YMCA is very nice and always kept clean. There's a nice variety of different exercise machines and free weights.

The swimming pool is an enjoyable place for families but it is important to check the schedule ahead of time to know if sections will be closed for private lessons or maintenance. The hot tub is nice but could be bigger to accommodate more people. The flowrider takes up a lot of space and is often not running. It would've been nice to see that space used to expand the pool or hot tub.

Drop-in and monthly membership fees are on the higher end but getting a membership is worth it if you plan to go regularly. There are also subsidized memberships available for low income individuals and families.

Overall, the YMCA offers enjoyable activities for all ages.

I love the YMCA, I feel like in a club there... but I gave them 3 starts because I have told them many times about the temperature of the water in the showers, it is really hot and not healthy and It's hard for who go to work after the YMCA take a shower. You could have some showers with water a bit colder. Hot water is not healthy for skin and less for hair and if you are a place that promove healthy habits, you should know this.

Used to enjoy going here as a way to just take a break and relax for a bit but have heard some complaints from one of my kids. He would go to the bathroom for 5 minutes, sometimes less and always have an employee knock and have a talk with him after he got out of the bathroom. Just three months ago, he told me he was pretty much banned from every bathroom in the YMCA for being in there for 10 minutes. He was not feeling so well and wasn’t doing anything bad in there or in general. Like come on give him a break!! I’ve seen other kids that hangout in the bathroom for way longer and completely destroy it and they don’t get a talk or anything. I am really disappointed on how they treat my kid

Good pool, the steam room seems to be broken a lot and is only 60 degrees C, it should be at least 80 to 90 which is the north american standard. They have an $80 admin fee when you buy or renew a membership, which in my opinion, is a total cash grab. The cleanleness has come down recently locker rooms are dirty, tile falling of walls, and the pool floors were filthy and had tiny bugs crawling on them. They have a concession that is very overpriced.

As someone who comes to the Y every weekday at 5am it’s starting to get annoying that members who want to get in have to wait for a worker to come and open the south doors past 5am. Usually she opens it 5:05 or later. Don’t get me wrong, she is very nice but when it’s -28 and members have to wait outside is kinda tiring as this has been happening for quite some time now. Also, the mens change room could use more attention. I assume the young ones in the evening mess it up but clearly they are not looked after daily.
