I had the privilege of receiving support from Ope Fletcher, and I couldn’t be more satisfied.

First, I truly appreciated Ope’s fairness. I was feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, so I poured out everything that felt unfair. Ope listened patiently and then carefully explained labor laws, helping me distinguish between what was legally problematic and what was simply a misunderstanding. But what stood out the most was how compassionate Ope was—ensuring we fully understood everything while making us feel truly supported. Even when we learned we had misunderstood something, we never felt judged. Instead, Ope made us feel like we had someone on our side, and that meant everything.

Second, Ope’s attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. While preparing my claim, Ope meticulously reviewed every word and sentence, considering how each phrase might be perceived. If something I wrote wasn’t entirely clear, Ope asked thoughtful questions to refine the wording and ensure accuracy. That level of care and dedication made me feel incredibly grateful.

I don’t wish for Ope to have an overwhelming workload, haha! 😆 But I do hope that many others who are struggling can find the support they need and fight for their rights with Ope’s guidance.

Extremely grateful to the WRC for their help in filing my EI application especially Rubina Abid. From the moment I spoke with her, I was met with kindness and understanding. Rubina was gentle and compassionate and she took the time to walk me through every step of the process. She patiently explained all the procedures involved in filing my EI application, and made sure to update me along the way. Her support gave me hope and I am grateful for her genuine care and professionalism. Thank you so much, Rubina, for all your hard work and dedication.

Ope F. is fantastic and was able to lead me through the maze of EI applications, followed up with my employer and the process to get their help was not difficult at all! This is the place to call if you have concerns but would like to handle things in a professional rather than emotional way! It is a bridge between you and your work difficulties and may create space for better communication in your workplace going forward!

I have been without job since months , after my contract got over with a company and I just kept looking for a job , totally oblivious to benefits this country ( Canada) offers to people who have been unemployed, after been chucked out of work. Someone referred me to Rubina Abdi ji, she is so soft spoken and a lovely human being and she took my case and offered to help me, though I had lost Hope ., I whole heartedly thank Rubina ji for first of all taking up my case, updating me about various procedures and then filing my case and finally helping me out in this dire situation 🙏
