I was incredibly surprised by how helpful and caring the staff were, they took in an injured grouse that was on my street and though it was past their operating hours they still made a huge effort to help and explain. Great people and a wonderful place

We were referred to Woodlands by Shades of Hope as they were not accepting any animals at this time. We found five orphaned squirrels on our property over the course of three days. Called Woodlands and they said they could take them in. Told us how to care for these little guys until we could transport them. Every person I spoke to was so kind and caring. I’m happy to say all five babies are doing well. Thank you for taking them and all the other critters you have in your care. We need more places like Woodlands. ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great spot run by dedicated people who truly care for the animals they rescued. Had a quick chat with them and was very impressed. But shame it's not open to the public to be able to see the progress of the animals being cared there.

They were such a help. Thank you for taking care of our wildlife. I was able to get a live trap for a fox from them.

If injured or orphaned animals are found, this is the place in Minden to call. They handle a wide area and can advise you who to call if you are too far away. They care. PS watch out for turtles and help where you can.
