Ridiculous. I called in hopes for confidentiality and safety. Instead, my friend is still at that home being abused. Why would you call their abuser? Seriously.
I'm solely impressed with their communication with me, but that is all.

Just remember they come to see if your child or children are safe. Put yourself in their shoes. It's their job to protect the children that can't protect themselves, because it is the parents job to protect their children. If you're not doing anything wrong then why be so hateful to C.A.S. They are here to keep your child safe listen to them please.

Horrible organization. Approve adults who don’t have custody of their children, with drug, alcohol and mental health problems, to have over night, unsupervised visits with small children, who have no way to contact anyone for help.
They continue to “approve” the other parent that there are “no concerns” with them or their residence, but the same incident happens over and over. How is that “protecting” children?
Have a court order for parenting plans? They don’t care and will ask you to go against it for their benefit. Have a child with special needs? They don’t care and don’t care the parent that you call about with concerns, damages devices the child needs for their disability.
They Do not support any children, and encourage abusive parents and their patterns.
4 switches of case workers in 3 years, mixed signals, terrible communication, consistent lateness and overall unsupportive.
You can thank Windsor Essex Children’s Aid Society, for your child’s years of therapy they will require, due to the unprofessionalism of this organization.

The worst kind of people on the planet ,
I should sue you know they had the tanasity to tell me " oh sorry Leslie for miss judging you , your a really good mother , why don't you just have another kid " court was over two years ago they were supposed to close their files within six months they are still harassing me ..... They had a hand written letters from my doctor a year and a half ago stating I graduated the program because he himself was testing me by pushing my angry to see how I would react .
They put my oldest daughter in a home where they were abusing , neglecting and putting my daughters in harms away as well as gave her covid three times .
I have documents that I summit to the courts through this whole process.
And this all over hearsay and accusations that aren't true that I proved time and time again aren't true .
And I mean he pushed me hard yet I just smiled and took it I wasn't rude disrespectful or Loud back he knows there is nothing wrong with me . Now they are trying to tell me which school I should put my daughter in they have no right I am so done .
Then last month they had the tanasity to call the cops on me because I didn't answer the door quick enough meanwhile I was in the middle of cutting dry wall , doing laundry and cleaning my house that I do own .
I am fed up and annoyed if I were you run and run away as hard and as fast as possible. These people are monsters !

I had an experience with this organization because an idiot in the bathroom of a family restaurant probably called 911 on me. Police officer told me the report was that I "was on my phone and left my baby on the counter"... Anyway...Police officer asked me if my file could be passed onto children's aid? I answered yes because I appreciate how our wonderful country has measures in place for child welfare. I made very clear to children's aid - "close my file asap!" I appreciate the free diapers and bottles gifted to me by children's aid. After their investigation, Kate Sharkey told me, my file/case is now closed...but Kate told me the young red headed, freckly student worker spoke nonsense about me. Perhaps that student has a mental illness causing her to be delusional. I am concerned for others that struggle to get their cases closed or taken care of properly. That student worker should be fired asap. There should be zero tolerance for nonsense when people's family life is at stake.

They "take steps to help the families to bring them together" but don't do their JOB to bring back to their GOOD parents who had a call against them from vindictive family members who do everything they can to better themselves only for CAS to not pursue the matter and take kids out of actual abusive situations. Shame on them!!! How do these people sleep at night? They certainly don't care about the mental health and well being of families when their non actions are making the mental health of others worse.

Absolute worst people in the world. They will make things worse . If i can give anyobe advice try to avoid them at all cost . If you do have to deal with them get a lawyer right away.

These people have more power to mess up your life than the police... And if you manage to make one of them mad, they will try their hardest to do so, regardless of whether or not it is justified.

Never sign anything they ask you to without a lawyer looking it over first, my ex and I did and they were involved with us for years, then we got lawyers and pretty quickly thereafter things changed for the better.

Be very careful whom you trust, some workers are very reasonable, but some make instant judgements and try to railroad you.

It would have been nice if someone had warned my ex and I about this fact.
