Patrick and team, THANK YOU on behalf of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver for the rescuing the baby ducks in time today.

We discovered mallard duck eggs up on the rooftop terrace.
From experience last year, the Landlord knew that the mother would be protective of the eggs, so we called the Wildlife Rescue and they told us to keep an eye on when they hatched.
It's a far fall to the ground, and we wanted to make sure they were protected once hatched. Not only from falling, but also from crows and seagulls.
Wildlife rescue was super responsive and gave us peace of mind in knowing that they were monitoring the situation closely.
This morning, the eggs hatched, and all the volunteers were tied up around the city as this is common this time of year.
They ended up making it down today somehow, a gentleman named Patrick was amazing.
There were 10 ducklings with the mama and no casualties to the predators.
We were impressed with how quickly and effortlessly the entire operation went.

Today I brought in a sweet little injured bird. They took him in immediately and made me feel that he would get the care he needed. So thankful for this service and the volunteers dedicating their time towards helping animals.

On Sunday my neighbors and I found a young, injured seagull. Wildlife Rescue did their best offering guidance over the phone as to how we should care for the gull until we could arrange a volunteer pick up.
Unfortunately, a volunteer couldn't be found so I drove it out to them after work.
The staff were friendly and helpful when I arrived. Explaining what I needed to do and promptly taking the seagull to their onsite vet hospital.

Overall the experience was as seamless as it could be and I'm happy that there's somewhere like Wildlife Rescue helping the animals 🙂

Gave them a call after a mum duck and about 10 ducklings got stuck in my back yard and then the neighbors back yard by going under the fence. Within hours they turned up early evening and relocated the duck family. Very happy how everything turned out.

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR DONATIONS

Recently I brought in an injured bird,
patient number: 24:3434/ case# Case 00029914, and since I am a huge animal lover, I gave the woman in the office a donation of $50 cash. When I asked for a receipt, she said that one will be emailed to me.

It’s been a while now. I’ve sent several follow up emails. Not only has no one responded to let me know how the bird is doing, I never received the receipt for my donation.

The staff person who accepted my money was working all alone that day. Obviously she pocketed the $50.

Update: In response to your response, it does not surprise me that there is no record of my follow up emails...goes without saying that is very suspicious. Also note that the staff person who took my cash donation said I would receive a receipt within 2-3 days. Lastly, I never received a follow up on the condition of the bird that I brought in and obviously that is a major concern of mine. Sadly, is this what it takes for your organization to be accountable?

Grateful to this operation and the dedicated people who run it! I found an injured baby humming bird this morning and delivered it to their care. The intake was efficient and friendly. They even assigned a patient number so that I can reference for follow up. Thank you for providing this invaluable resource!
