I grew up in Westlock and I would walk here all the time or get dropped off , either alone or to meet someone else , this facility is argueably the biggest kaching of Westlock, it has a big ice rink , a complete gym , three big courts for sports with adequate seating , many back stairs and other paths they have alot of change rooms and nice bathrooms they offer many fun games to play like ping pong etc you have to give them something in exachnge to have the ping pong balls until you return them , the staff is crabby and moody they don’t like the kids being their or teenagers the ammount of times I’ve been kicked outta stair wells or heavily watched by the staff , me and my friends wound up not hanging out here after we got older as the staff became increasingly suspicious of us trying to make out in the stairs lol stupid girls

Their staff members are not behaving well with the guys who took member ship over here ene the courts are vacant then also they dont allow us to play over there

I use the bike path and find it relaxing as well as a good place to get some exercise on the trail, it looks so nice this time of year too but I've even gotten some decent pictures

My boyfriend and I went to the courts to practise some drills, and one of the workers started setting up a badminton net right where we were training. We would run from one end to the other, and as we were running one way, he ran passed us and started setting this net up across the entirety of where we were running. This was especially weird because there were several other spots open that could have accommodated a net. He said absolutely nothing to us, he simply ran up, and started setting up the net in the middle of where we were training.

I asked him what was going on and his response was “I’m just doing what I was told, if you have a problem with it then talk to the front desk.”

He offered no reason as to why he was imposing on our training, only that we can leave or talk to management if we don’t like what he’s doing.

I would understand if there was a volleyball or badminton practise scheduled, then all he had to say was that the court was reserved. Unfortunately he said absolutely nothing to us. I’m not joking when I say he just ran up, interrupted me in the middle of a shuttle run by placing a net in my way, and stood there not saying anything still..

We won’t be back.

Great experience with very good concessions. Alot happening there, parking a bit restricted for size of facility. Over enjoyed our events happening here.

We were doing a public skate and they decided to run a gas powerd edger while we were on the ice skating. They never talked to us, they didn't turn on the exhaust fans and could of caredless that we were on the ice. There was four lady's behind the desk and two people running the machine and no one came and talked to me and my family. When we asked them to stop they told me that this was a borrowed machine and that they need to get it done.
This is how you treat your community members.

During our public skate, the maintenance people decided to run their gas fueled edger. Filling the rink with carbon dioxide and the smell of fuel. I politely asked them to stop, their reasoning for doing it during the public skate was the machine was borrowed? No care for their community members and even Thanked me for stopping by.?

Service is very bad worst experience ever
