Great place for families. Great value in comparison to other places like this that charge 2 legs 5 fingers and you right arm. I lived here for years before 2018 and hope to move back one day soon

Lived there for 14 months.
Never had a problem with management.
All maintenance issues were resolved in reasonable time. One of the main drawbacks is that they heat with electric panels and not with gas. Got the deposit back with no problem. This was my first home in Canada and it was a pleasant time.

Beware of unfair fees charged, also you will never get your damage deposit or shares back have heard from many that left there and same situation. Hydro is very expensive as units are poorly insulated, be prepared to pay between $250-$300 per month on a budget. You will freeze in winter and its deathly hot in the summer not worth living there. Management team is rude. It is supposed to be lower rental affordable place, yet the last increase was anywhere from $80-$150 as I heard from other tenants what they were charged and it was all different amounts yet they said that the increase would not be so large that you could not afford. That first month of the increase was a real struggle I eventually moved out too expensive and was not willing to stay and pay that and the hydro bill there.

Lived here for a short time while looking for a house to buy. The "member fee" was reasonable. The staff that run this place are terribly unhelpful and untruthful. We had nothing but issues with the place. Repairs never got done. Light bulbs were never put in, but when we moved out they charged us for light bulbs. The 'brand new carpet" that was there smelled like wet and when we asked to have it cleaned they said they did it and then charged us again when we moved out. If you do decide to live here make sure to document and be in touch through email about everything because they will charge you for things that aren't your responsibility. This seems to be the way they make extra money. As well the staff were not easy to deal with. When we moved out and we didn't get our full deposit back we tried several times to contact them about this and were actually hung up on and had out calls blocked and ignored. Not very professional and not what you would expect in a professional business. If you hear complaints from people that live there listen and take their word for it, not the word of the staff..

Any & All negative opnions expressed about Westboine Park Place (A.K.A) our home has to be just that your opinion,my experiences have been welcoming professional and warm it's the old saying you get what you give,so as not to disregard your opinions keep in mind this Is a village and as so we are all family,so before you attack please remember what Co-op living is about helping any & all in our Village,so in closing let. Me Express my opinion, I feel welcomed secure,and when in need of anything for grounds garden support etc.the staff and management also maintenance will attend to help all or supply what it is your asking for. Maybe it's new to you and you approached as a this is what I want and here it's about what we all can do for each other for the betterment of our Village...try approaching your opinion through why Co-op is just that and next time you go I'm office you'll find a smiling face and everything in there power to help you intergrate into Co-op family.

Love living here! It really is like living in a cottage setting, but within the city. 2 bedroom apartments are available on site, as well as a variety of 2-4 bedroom townhomes. Rent includes water. You pay hydro/electric and internet/t.v./phone. Townhome units have insuite dryers, you provide your own washer, washer units are available to rent monthly, parking is also extra. Townhome units have either front/back, front and back yards, or balconies. Apartment units have screened in balconies. There is a waiting list.

Polite when approached,greeting is somewhat off no smiles however once you get past receptionist management is amazingly welcoming from get go they make you feel welcome a rare thing these days so Koodo to management,friendly atmosphere accommodating and quick to help when needed,all in all so very nice to know quality of help is real and still out there westboine park is proof it works and continues to strive to keep it going forward with all whom are involved in any way.

Quiet, family oriented, cooperative housing community. The look of a cottage community complete with wildlife, but with close access to major bus routes and amenities.
