There are so many issues that we encountered while living here. The biggest one was having mice. There are mice everywhere in this building. We had pest control visit my apartment few times but they only refilled poisonous baits. We would see them running from our stove to the dishwasher and hear them inside the walls at night. I talked to the neighbors and they also have mice and/or have seen them running in the hallways, laundry room and the garage. Prior to moving in, I specifically asked the management about having rodents when we stumbled upon mice baits all around the apartment. She said, 'they are only here for precaution. We do not have mice in the building'.

I fell sick cleaning mice feces. My daughter started crawling so we moved out.

On a positive note, underground garage is nice in the winter. Neighbors are nice and the little garden in front of the building is nice in the summer.

We currently live in this coop, and have many members who have lived in West Scenic Acres Coop for 25 plus years.
The location of WSA to highways, shopping, medical facilities is amazing. There is a bike and walking path steps from our front door; transit right outside the building which can take you downtown or shopping in a few short minutes.
We offer underground parking...imagine not having to brush the snow /ice from car or have to warm up your car during our cold winters.
,Members strive to build community and support one another within our Coop.We offer adapted units so those with mobility challenges are able to live as independently as possibly .
We encourage and support members being able to “age in place” with supports for members to stay in their homes for as long as possible
We offer educational opportunities for members and a chance to meet new friends and create new memories.

The elder people hang outside most of the time because they have mice issues and they are so ignorant about it, it's like they hate being inside their own homes.
