I’ve lost all trust in both the Watrous clinic and hospital to support my health in any meaningful way. This is a facility completely lost in bureaucracy and indifference. This is a place where basic requests become uphill battles, and genuine care is buried under red tape.

Over time, I’ve been repeatedly dismissed and made to feel like a burden for needing anything beyond a checkbox. This isn’t about one bad experience. It’s a consistent, exhausting pattern. And it’s left me emotionally and physically drained.

What should be simple is made complicated. What should be compassionate is made clinical. I’ve given this place more chances than it deserved, and the result has been the same: silence, inconvenience, and a total lack of human understanding.

If you need real support, especially with mental health, do not expect it here. It will only harm you more. I reached my limit, and I’m stepping away for the sake of my own survival. I truly hope this system changes, but I won’t sacrifice my wellbeing while waiting for that to happen.

I am appalled by the terrible treatment and service that this hospital provided. My father had a very obvious foot injury and instead of being offered a wheelchair or brought into a room, he was told to go register himself down the hall. He had to limp over, register, and then limp back to the nurses station. All of the nurses were huddled in the middle just talking and sipping coffee. No one was there to greet us, and we were just standing there while we had to get one of the nurses attention.

When we were finally brought into a room, one of the nurses was asking my father about the medications that he was taking and she didn’t even know what they were for. She had to pull out her phone and google them.

None of the nurses were kind, courteous, or caring, and we weren’t even offered water. There was no cell service for me to contact my family, and when I asked to have access to wifi I was refused the password. I had to use the phone at the nurses station where all the nurses could hear what I was saying, there was no privacy.

There was also no doctor at the hospital, and my dad had to speak with one over the phone. While I understand that this is a rural hospital with a small population, it is unacceptable to call yourself a hospital and not have a doctor available in person 24/7.

I tried contacting SHA to file a formal complaint and was met with lack lustre responses before being ignored altogether. I highly doubt anything will be done about this, but I think it’s important to speak up when there is blatant disregard and unethical conduct.

All the staff are great, nurses and doctors are nice, knowledgeable, and take time to explain conditions/concerns propery.

Unfortunately appointment's can only be made by calling in the morning of the same day (after 8:30am), so no guarantee you'll be able to get in if you call a bit later.

Some conditions can not be tested for at the clinic ie: ultrasounds are not available here, so the wait for those tests can take a while.

Overall it's good for minor emergencies and basic check-ups.

Doctor Choudhary is inadequate I am barely able to hear out of my left ear and clearly have cracked teeth I pointed out a very common thing called cracked tooth syndrome that could be the culprit and instead of acknowledging it she said "your just self diagnosing your ear and mouth are fine" clearly I have 3 broken teeth in my mouth and just pulled a bit of blood out of my ear a half hour ago. I will be filing formal complaints against her. Dr. Choudhary is her name so that you may avoid this issue yourselves, she seems to care more about getting you away from her then actually fixing you so be careful.

Very professional and friendly staff. They were so fast in getting me pain killers, checking my ankle, x-raying it, and getting me a boot so I could go on with my day! (The boot is super nice too) A big thank-you Dr. Chowdhary, nurses and staff; you guys were awesome!

Long story short, my cat bolted out of the vehicle when we arrived for the weekend. She is an indoor cat, who was previously abused. She and had no idea where she was. I found her under my vehicle, grabbed her tail and held on while she was biting me, until I had her safe. I called the hospital and was told to come in. I was fortunate to walk right in (after Covid screening). I had my required tetanus shot and received my needed antibiotics. Quick, professional and efficient service. Thank you so much

Very bad experience! We arrived 9:37am, went to emergency thinking they might be able to help us. Then they guide us to reception to register and we did. The receptionist lady was very nice. After that we were brought back to emergency section and waited til 10:37am to be brought to one of their rooms (1hr wait time, is fine) then my girlfriend is in there waiting for them to do the work for her wound issues on her stitches and the nurses came by 1st time: check vitals etc, 2nd time: check the wound and pus issue, 3rd time: took some blood work. After that, they told her that the doctor will be in shortly, again it's ok even though it's almost 12:45noon already. So when doctor walked in, she was so rude. You won't feel comfortable and the way she talk? Not friendly or accomodating at all. She pressed my gf tummy (belly, where the stitches and pain coming from) many times even my gf says it hurts she still continue and then she said idk what to di and told her this," i don't know what to do really, you tell me what you want from me," seriously? So my gf just told her maybe you can give me at least a meds to take? She said ok but other than that I cannot help you, go to your gp and he can help you and your ob. WELL, if you guys know what you're doing and if you cannot help a patient tell us ahead of time not let us sit and wait for almost 3hours in a room with nothing. Extremely disappointed to that lady doctor!!!!! Never going back ever to that clinic because of her rude attitude!!!!

Dr. Adebayo was kind and helpful, and I appreciate the receptionist being able to book me the same day I called. Thanks!
