Waterloo co-op preschool has been a wonderful experience for our family.
Both my kids attended this preschool and thrived.
My younger kid had bad separation anxiety ,but the teachers were amazing and open to working with the parents as needed.
For me, as a mom ,I learned a lot from Tracy and
Patty and all the wonderful educators while volunteering in class.
Teachers were amazingly attentive to the kids social and emotional needs.
I would definitely recommend.

Awesome preschool in the heart of Waterloo. The teachers and staff are awesome; and go above and beyond to mentor the little tykes. Right from welcoming the kids into school each day, to taking care of their individual needs; from teaching them the various social skills and manners to providing timely and correct updates and guidance to parents; the teachers and staff at Waterloo Co-Operative Preschool did more for my son than I expected. A perfect place for Kindergarten Prep.

My son attended the KinderPrep/Preschool, and he had wonderful year at Waterloo Cooperative Preschool. The teachers were friendly, caring and very supportive. My sons favourite part of the preschool was the outdoor play area & he also made friends at WCP. I can honestly say that the KinderPrep program really helped make my son’s transition to Kindergarten very easy!

We love Waterloo Cooperative Preschool! We sent our oldest there before she started kindergarten and our youngest is there now. The teachers at this school are so energetic and engaging and they really pay attention to the kids' needs. They are brilliant at warmly redirecting undesirable behaviour, and the preschool fosters a community around the kids through the parental participation aspect (which is not mandatory but fees are reduced for participating parents). All the parents know my little one, and it's lovely seeing her interact with them and the other kids, and to see her world grow.

My daughter is enrolled in the Mon Wed Preschool program at Waterloo Co-op Preschool. We have been so impressed with the staff and the learning space. My favourite part about the school is that the teachers treat the little ones with such respect, for instance, they get down on the children's level to talk to them, and they give their full attention when the children talk to them. My daughter adores the school and looks forward to every school day.

If you're looking for a warm, nurturing, learning environment for your little one, you can stop your search right now. Don't walk, RUN to sign them up at Waterloo Co-Op! The teachers are very caring and really help the children grow and develop while focusing on the individual needs of each child. I have noticed a huge improvement in my toddler's development (speech, fine motor, gross motor) since beginning at this preschool. The playground outside is fantastic and has a little roadway and bridge for the children to pedal tricycles around, plenty of shade, sensory experiences, and various features to develop gross motor skills (logs, tunnel, slide, etc). Healthy snacks and water were provided. My toddler always had a fantastic time playing and learning with friends and the teachers. Don't let the Co-Op aspect put you off - it's been the best part of my time at the preschool. Thank you WCP!

My son absolutely loved his time in the Kinderprep Program. The teachers were friendly and created a strong connection with him. The outdoor play area was his favourite. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter has recently started the Tue/Thu morning Toddler program - and loves it! There was a month long adjustment period for her (this was her first experience with childcare outside of 'family') and the teaching staff was so wonderful and helpful in aiding her transition, ensuring it was as smooth as possible. A very warm and welcoming environment - for both the children and parents. I highly recommend it!
