I lived in St. Catharines for a long time before moving up here. Most of the people who worked there were not nice and you got very little to feed yourself and you could only go once every two months. completely the opposite experience here in Wasaga! The people... Great, the food... lots! Some of the kindest caring people I've ever met.

I appreciate for all their services . Because of my disability and my son works during the hours ofoperation . They offer all our needs meat vegetables canned goods and household items. And if I request an item , If they have them . The give it . Am blessed to have this food bank in our community! God bless all the workers there.

Absolutely the WORST customer service I've seen!
I'm sure they provide a service for which some cannot live without, but I wouldn't deal with the staff here, even if they paid me to, EVER again.

They were rude, curt, obnoxious, degrading, and demeaning. I don't know the woman's name I spoke with specifically, but if she is a volunteer OR hired, she needs a course in kindness, empathy, inclusivity training and customer relations. DISGUSTING.

I truly hope the regular patrons are not treated as poorly, both in person and on the phone, as I was. ?‍♀️

Pastor Jay and staff are friendly and not at all judgemental.

Without them we wouldn't make it through the month for food.

If I am ever in a position to financially help out, y'all are one of the top 3 places I would donate money.

I've had a few problems, for whatever reason, every time I go in, I get pulled in to office, last time we took bus, was hoping to catch next bus back, but had to go into office again only to find out everything was fine!
Mom and I missed bus, Mom is 73 years old and we had to wait 45 minutes to catch next bus! Plus she has Alzheimer's, and we had to stand as there isn't a seat at that bus stop,plus it was cold outside, Had to give up my coat because Mom was cold!
This month again same problem, called into office! Apparently need proof of everything! This has been going on for at least 6 months give or take!!! When bags were at counter I told everyone I had to get my hubby to help with bags,I went out front, sent my husband back, Elderly gentleman was giving my hubby a hard time, my hubby is on the paperwork along with my mom and I I don't understand what the problem was he was just rude to my hubby!
I had to say out front Till Mom came out of washroom, because if Neither one of us weren't around she would panic, she has elzheimers!

When I went back to help my hubby the gentleman was trying to accuse us of taking someone else's bags plus our own bags!
They were my bags!
He had two papers, one was from the couple in front of us! I guess he forgot to file paper!
I look forward to going to food bank! I don't get out a lot and I see some friends get to socialize, this is so stressful! Month after month same thing! It's getting really frustrating!
Normally We go during day, because the volunteers ask you what you need,
If it's something I don't need I let them know, because that way someone else can use it! I like that very much! I would never take something if I already have enough at home!
We are Very Thankful for the food we receive! And all the staff are very friendly, except the one gentleman, many we just are there when he's having a bad day! We

Very kind sweet people who run this place im so thankful for them as they really helped me out last couple years since my rough divorce with 4 kids... and so i try to give back when i can to them...amazing all the volunteers thank you for all you do...god bles8
