Regrettably, I must assign a single star to the Warmland Homeless Shelter. My experience at this establishment left much to be desired. The facilities were inadequate, and the overall environment lacked the necessary conditions to provide a dignified and safe haven for those in need.

The shelter's resources appeared stretched thin, resulting in limited support and minimal assistance for its residents. Cleanliness and hygiene were serious concerns, as the facilities seemed ill-equipped to maintain even basic sanitation standards. The staff's demeanor was often distant and indifferent, failing to create an atmosphere of empathy and understanding that is crucial in such a sensitive setting.

It is my hope that the Warmland Homeless Shelter recognizes the urgency of improving its conditions and services to truly fulfill its mission of providing a helping hand to the vulnerable members of our community. A reassessment of its resources, staff training, and overall approach is imperative to restore faith in the essential role it should play in addressing homelessness and offering much-needed support.

The place Likes to help methheads and junkies before actual people that are trying to do something with their life , someone that has minimal substance abuse issues has to wait nearly 4 months for a apartment and yet a strug out methhead gets one in less than 2 weeks.... prioritys at the place are completely backwards .they talk about having a great success rate with people getting housing when they only put them in the pods by the salvation army or the wet building by Walmart.... that's not a success rate, it's a failure rate . What a joke

This place literally save my life I was stuck and did not know my way around town luckily I was able to get this place up on the map stayed 3 nights and they gave me a warm coat, new clothes, fed me. it was literally a lifesaver I don't care if people have negative things to say about this place, the people and especially the workers, work their butts off to make sure we're comfortable enough, and clean!! Tysm guys!!! Compare this to any other shelter in the western region, and it's too notch for nessescitys

I had encountered many disappointments to these people who laim they are helping the homeless but I've witnessed many occasions where they clearly are disregarding their occupational job and not taking it seriously because they lack a lot of things such as genuine wanting to help those who haven't had the best times in their lives but I have seen quite a few times where they went above and beyond almost enough to balance it evenly

Pros- Wonderful caring staff, excellent and nutritious food. Livable wages.
Cons- Poorly managed, little to no training for new staff, many confusing, unclear and ever changing rules.
It’s what happens when you give the keys of a kingdom to a thief.

Tried to drop off several good winter coats for those who may need them. The person who answered the bell was a little curt and informed me they were not accepting donations. Really guys? It’s November and cold so she could have a least told me where they could be dropped off.

On September 17th, I saw two of the staff members watching the police dealing with a few individuals across the street. When I asked what they were doing, they said "oh, just being nosy." Not only that, but the staff are constantly leaving the property during their shift to grab some alcoholic drinks that they will drink on the property during their shift. Also, if the clients ask them a simple question about why they are doing a certain thing, just on curiosity, they are kicked out of the shelter for a certain amount of time before they are allowed back. Ask any of the clients and you will find that the majority of them really don't like the staff. The biggest reason we don't leave is because we don't have anywhere else to go. The nonsense needs to stop, now!

Warmland is a Shelter for homeless people. They serve breakfast and an early dinner. They have a nice courtyard area out front and the inside of the building is kept clean.
Staff are knowledgeable and most are friendly and there to help. They have space for both women and men and also a 2nd stage housing program. See the website for more information.
