Started volunteering recently after seeing them work and feed the homeless. They really do a lot... prepping and distributing meals, donating clothing and even helping people prepare for careers with workshops. Great group.

This is the second year of the MyToronto Photo Contest!
Local charity Ve' ahavta assists marginalized individuals by distributing disposable Fuji camera, one week, and an opportunity to show Toronto from their perspective.
This year, the theme was "strength" and the Top 40 pics were displayed at a one week exhibition in October, at Artscape on Shaw Street. The Top 40 winners received $50 for their photo.
The next level of the contest, is where photos were selected to make up the 2019 Calendar. Each calendar winner received $200 and the front page winner received $500!
In addition, Ve'ahavta held a trainee class for anyone interested in selling the $20 calendars. A vender makes $10 for each calendar sold.
This program allows a person to set a goal, and provides the step by step process for accomplishing this goal, with mentoring and follow-up.
Great job Ve'ahavta!
I am a Top 40 winner. I strive to be a calendar winner next year.
Feel free to purchase a calendar online.
My vendor ID# 014-2018.
