Save your time and energy — go elsewhere if you need a smooth, reliable intake process.

After waiting nearly three months, I finally had my intake call. The staff member was late, did not mark me as present, and I was then told I had “missed” the appointment. This forced me to wait another two weeks before trying again.

When I called to check on the status, I was told that “this happens sometimes” and it could be a discrepancy on their end — yet instead of taking accountability, they claimed I was the one who failed to respond or reach out.

I had already shared very personal and sensitive information with the same intake worker, but was told I must be mistaken and had spoken with “someone else.” That was impossible, as the only number I ever called was the one listed for this health centre.

To make matters worse, after going through this entire process, they finally looked at my doctor’s referral and told me that they “don’t cover that kind of thing” — and simply referred me elsewhere. This was after months of waiting, repeating sensitive details, and being made to feel at fault for their mistakes.

For people who already struggle to find the courage to seek help, this kind of experience is damaging and discouraging. The quality of the healthcare system has significantly declined, and experiences like this, highlight how far it has deteriorated.

I’m not typically the type of person to complain — I don’t write negative reviews. But this is mental health we’re talking about, and as a fully certified, trained firefighter/EMR, I do not take this lightly. Do better.

Health Care service and quality has significantly decreased after the change in nurse practitioner, at least the ones I have been assigned. Nurse Amy was an empathetic, caring and highly knowledgeable professional. Service is now substandard and I'm now left in the lurch with no viable solution to what may be a simple issue. 🥲

Wonderful service, very kind and attentive staff. From reception onwards, all the services are excellent, especially from the attendant Frisca, very kind.

I felt dismissed, and my concerns were treated as if they were not real or important. I am seriously concerned about the professionalism and standard of care at this clinic.

I have had an excellent experience with the team at Vaughan Community Health Centre. My care team has Ewa and Rosanna and they have been incredibly supportive throughout my journey. I highly recommend this organization to anyone who wants to take control of their health.

Terrible service terrible wait time.
Just extremely frustrated with this scam to check in. While people are sitting behind the glass doing nothing. If I could check in with an actual person they would be able to give me details about my appointment or if I’m too early or here on the wrong date. The scanner just checks you in and says nothing, doesn’t give any information or indication if you are actually here for the right time or date.
You sit waiting for forever if you can even manage to get an appointment. I had to book my appointment 3 weeks in advance so I’ve been dealing with a health issue for 3 weeks but no one is ever there to see the patients. Absolutely ridiculous

Mr kalil is an un educated and horrible so called doctor. After accepting me as his new patient and after 5 appointments he out of no where refused to be my doctor after explaining to him about my adhd. He is extremely un professional, rude and a total “ know it all “ . Does not give you time to talk and explain things. Mr kalil is a failure at his craft without a doubt. WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY. I will not ever acknowledge that he is a doctor. He is very scummy and his english is horrible. This man is a total let down and an example of how a doctor should NOT be!
