I've shipped horses and cows here and it's not a good experience... nobody at off load seems to want to be there. Once questioned a brand on my sorrel colt ( I sold a 23 year old black no brands) missed paying me for 2 steers and bought a nice young black filly went to load and it was some old half dead meat horse. The auction is fine just in need of a personal change

I would have thought that after the first experience that I would have learned that this Auction is by far the worst I have dealt with.
This is the second time that the fact that our horses were not mentioned that they were registered. No mention of any lineage. Will never use them again. I can appreciate that the price we get is what it is. I cannot accept the fact that they are not sold to their potential.

10/10 do not recommend.
They kicked me out for posting about a charged animal abuser they knowingly have work for them, on my own personal Facebook. Proceeded to yell at me and call me names. Then proceeded to harass me the week after by getting my phone number out of their database ( I'm a constant buyer at vjv auctions) and calling me over and over.

I found that the auction was pretty well organized. the lady at the desk was good the horses were all accessible for viewing. the auctioner was fast but not to fast. the only reason I gave it a 3 star was because of the horribly rude older lady short with glasses and shorter grey hair I never meet anyone at an auction that was so ignorant.

I get well below market prices for my goats here than tofield auction. The ladies at the counter are great. Just terrible prices.

Really fancy and great setup if your interested in buying livestock this is a great place but make sure to look at all the main aspects of cattle

Stock were handled professionally. The stockman receiving our stock was extremely helpful regarding filling out our manifest;. Cheques were ready promptly.
