I found that the staff could be more friendly now maybe it was just me but I feel I get the look like what r u doing here I can't say it's because I'm First Nations Because my long time sorry white friend was with me and that really is disappointing being disabled I went in to inquire ABOUT an electronic wheel chair which I found it very hard to get a answer about the battery it self all three I don't know if they are volunteers worker employees but they all looked at me side ways asking me why I wanted to know I guess me being in a wheel chair wasn't a good enough reason so I told them my Father wanted a little bit more info I got a long pause I asked if this is what it cost cause if it's bran new battery 100$ seems like to go to be true when I went bk they had also changed the price to adding one more 0 .but they second hand store it self has pretty much anything one would like to find

This is the best thrift store in town. The people who work there are amazing.
The prices are good. Some things are priced higher now, but they are higher quality items and the proceeds go to a good cause so it's still helping the community. Nothing is exorbitantly priced and there are lots of treasures to find here.

Getting more expensive. I understand running a store can be expensive... but prices are seriously out of the ballpark for thrift store items. Saw jeans for 60.00, old nothing special mens t-shirts, 5 bucks, 10.00 for some sewing patterns, $24.00 for a straw hat.. ect. Who's pricing this stuff?

This place WAS one of the best thrift stores in Campbell River. The women there are still absolute angels. I used to go there quite often and always found something that I needed for a good price. They are helpful, kind people, but have little conscience about overcharging for donated items now.
*** Sorry ladies, but I have changed this review to reflect on your price gouging on the items you have in the store now. Your prices have pretty much tripled in the last year-and-a-half. I thought you were there to help people who were low income and in need. Basic items like blankets are now $45, and some coats are up to 35 to 50 dollars. Appliances have skyrocketed. This is not the best thrift store in town anymore. I want to support you, but I can not afford your extraordinary high prices for Thrift Store items.

Wonderful staff, great items, and all supporting a good cause. My partner and I have furnished and decorated most of our house with treasures from Transitions, and its often our first stop when looking for unique items. Thanks for doing such a wonderful job!

I had visited the store once probably about a year before and found the selection was good but the location for myself was out of my way so never had the opportunity to stop again. I heard on the radio that Saturday was $2 for clothing and thought I would try to remember to stop by . The Covid protocol is a bit backwards but the sales lady was friendly and told me what I was required to do and I went to look around. I found the pricing either really low or too high for what the item was .I found a Camo Jacket and Pants set that was a smaller size that would be a perfect for my son for the $2
I also found a tent for $5 I haven't set it up yet so hopefully the poles and rest of it is there . All in all I had a good experience and would go back again.
