I am a Hillview Resident that is concerned about the speed on 262 oxbow Rd. and Hwy 817. They drive it like a NASCAR driver at about 100 kph or more for a 1/4 mile . There is school buses stopping for kid and people walking there dogs as well as joggers. I have complained several time to the town and and NO response back, so far nothing as been addressed until a human or animals get KILLED!!!

Picked up HIG stickers today and desk person was extremely rude and condescending. She asked if I pay a garbage fee on my water bill? I said yes. She had to look up my address to prove it. Reluctantly handed me 5 HIG tags for my four plex.

The Town has no Visitor Information. When I phoned the town they say it is at Dairy Queen. Well nothing is there & nothing on Google. We went into friendly small business & heard that small businesses were trying to get together to do QR codes for tourists. That is great but like what we were doing just antiquing through southern Alberta we want the information on hand. This is the first time I have been into a town/city this size & have not seen any brochures or maps anywhere in their city. If there was maybe we would have stayed longer.

Nice new clean modern building. taking strathmore into the 21st century with style and elegance. The farmers that used to sell their goods on this land now sell them elsewhere, parking lots are of abundance. Nice pond and walkway beside aswell this build blends well and doesn't district from the natural beauty that surrounds it. Would definitely go back to see it again.
