Went there on November 1, a Sunday. The place is super quiet. All The stores and services are circularly surrounded the court house. You can find a cafe, Chinese food and other options for food or a rest. The are is clean and the vide is good. Also, highly recommend you plan a visit to the nearby bridge and trail. Lovely location.

Goderich is a gorgeous town which has too many excellent things to mention. Partial list: art, bakeries, Caits Cafe, dazzling sunsets, elegant buildings, friendliness, Goderich Courthouse Square, hospitality, icecream, jams, keen citizenry, lots of birds, Maitland Woods Trails, no traffic, old buildings, plenty of parks, quaint, resilient, stable, tough, unpretentious, vibrant, youthful, zestful, and much more. Cycling is common here, year round! There is very little going on here after dark.

Imagine living in a town where its okay to hose a 2 year old for walking on the grass during construction when theres no sidewalk, but the actual hosing a 2 year old is okay

Police need to get their priorities straight instead of only caring about child abuse when its convenient for them

We enjoy Goderich and the drive along the lake shore. The boardwalk is just awesome, well maintained and a total pleasure to use. Parking sometimes is a challenge but there always seam to be spaces. Love the town square and the many historic buildings that make up the hub

I live in goderich, my address says goderich, but apparently I'm not enough of a resident to get access to the parking passes. So now I have to pay for one and it's not even valid until the permit is "approved", so I still can't park at the beach today. What an awful system. I pay for groceries, gas, and income tax in goderich and I work here. But I'm not a resident as far as the city is concerned.
