A very friendly town to visit and live. There are many wonderful amenities available including shopping, many restaurants, churches, walk-in clinics, doctors, and a very unique downtown core with a something to offer everyone. It is well know for the stunning Navy Yard Park, the Park House Museum, Fort Malden Museum, the Black Museum and so much more. Definitely a must visit, if you have not already!

Great little bakery for bread for it is indeed excellent. But, their scones have the texture of biscuits and the other savories and sweets are average in quality. They have nothing to compare to the bakeries of Kitchener/Waterloo, Stratford or Toronto. Still--the bread is a wonderful treat with chili or stew.

Town is a great place but on this occasion I saw a man double park his trailer at a park to run something to his wife and kid on a hot day. In this time by-law pulled up and started writing him a ticket. Could of asked who's vehicle it was or asked why he parked like that to find out the answer instead of jumping to the book. UPDATE. May 7, 2021 - another negative to add unfortunately. They have decided to close a well known Jack Purdie Park so they can build condos and homes. Anything for a money.

Wow, we clean our driveway and sidewalks and then they come behind and plow us in!!! I have to go pick my grandson up after school. Hopefully I can get out of the driveway.

Honestly very helpful with taxes and setting up direct withdrawal account (which by the way Amherstburg is one of a few towns left that still do monthly withdrawal). Very friendly staff that helped these first time home buyers that had no idea what they were doing

Many complaints about the way things are being run. They just did a remediation from work done 12 years ago. Then they put my neighbour through hell by threatening to take down his tree. Turns out wrong address! Pathetic how this tow is being run!
