I was recently told that the Salvation Army has done an audit and anyone under 60 years old do not qualify for assistance. I live in geared to income housing, I'm 47 with mobility issues and I have very low income. But because I'm under 60 years old I'm not allowed to eat? Thanks Carla

Friendly staff and they give a nice order.
Fresh veggies and fruits. Ready to eat meals from Smith's. Milk, bread, sweets, and more.
I'm very happy with their food bank services.

Great place to shop. The employees are always so friendly. Items are clean and are not too expensive. I only have one issue with the place and it is really with a customer. There is a few customers I have noticed buying this here and then posting it on other sites for well over the amount they bought it for. Talk about a scam. I think one of the guys names are Tony. He is in their every day several times a day. I have seen him buy items before they even make it to the shelf. Staff are still putting it away. They are nice items too and I would of loved to get them.. But other than that this is the best thrift store around.

This place does a lot of good in the city. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable, if you're looking to stock a needy apartment. The stock changes constantly, so stop in regularly if you need something in particular. I dropped off a donation for their Christmas hampers and it was well received. I like that our donation will directly benefit those in need in my city. I was able to meet the administrators and they hug if you permit.

It's a non profit thrift store, a food bank, and links to other social services and programs.
Always friendly.
Still no thrift shop open yet, closed since covid.
Hopefully soon because it brings in a lot of.funds that go towards various programs and services they offer to the community.
And, regardless of how you found yourself in a down and out situation, Mary will always be there to help, with a perk in her step, and a smile on her face, she'll add a little brightness to a seemingly dark time...

Fantastic prices for items of all sorts. But just like all thrift stores, there's a lot of garbage. Unfortunately, this store is pretty small too, so it suffers from tight spaces and awkward walking areas.

I been noticing for a while now that most of all the food they give me are expired ,i mean a year and over ,not being ungreatful but i have a hard time eating something that been expired for monthes ,like chicken for exemple .Im a little curious on how the rules are when it come to expired foods .
