I had the WORST experience ever at the Nourish and Develop transition housing, I was staying there with my two young children and honestly I wouldn't even send my worst enemy here!!!! They claim the transitional housing is a “safe space” but 3 weeks into living in this “safe space” one of the other clients was doing drugs in the house and the staff did absolutely nothing twice i found the same client passed out high in the washroom again nothing was done and this is supposed to be a “safe space” for adults and children. A couple months after that incident a new client moved in and my self along with my children were subjected to bullying amd things being said about my kids and my kids being called names FOR MONTHS and staff did nothing they allowed this grown woman to bully my children and say whatever she wanted to them or about them and they did nothing but condone this woman’s behaviour. This same client locked me out of the housing house while my kids were inside alone and guess what? The staff did NOTHING didn’t even say anything to this woman they continued to condone her behaviour till i was forced to pack up myself and my children and leave. The staff did not once give any ounce of sympathy nor were they empathetic never once apologized for my children having to live day to day dealing with a grown woman bullying them. I would definitely RECONSIDER ever moving into this transitional housing unit!!!!!!

Great place. Great people they serve up a delicious healthy meal every Wednesday. The head cook has agreed to do some one on one cooking to help me learn to eat healthier as I am diabetic. I can't say enough good things about this organization every community should be doing what they do. Wish that I could give them more stars.

I was referred to this amazing place by Charles from North house and it was life changing for me. I wish I knew about this place sooner because i struggled with not having enough food for a long time. Arielle and McKenzie are such kind and loving people and i am so thankful to this incredible place. Thank you NDF!!

I love going into this second hand store. They have quite a wide selection of things. From clothing, albums, electronics and household goods.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
