The Farm Store at the Hive & Hearthstone apiary is 100% worth the detour. I started stopping by when only raw honey was sold in 1 kg and 500 g jars. They made perfect hostess gifts and were a welcome addition to recipes and breakfast fixings.
Now I go to pick up soaps, lip balm, candles, various flavoured creamed honey, as well as fresh, wood-fired pizza and bread. The regular sourdough is to die for, and the jalapeño cheese and Kalamata olive versions are heaven itself! As hostess gifts and Christmas stocking stuffers, these are always appreciated.

By far the best wood-fired pizza. The sauce is amazing and the toppings so fresh!
The chai honey is incredible and definitely a fantastic addition to their liquid gold!
We finished the first pizza in the truck and my husband drove back for a second!

Once again this visit was part of the L & A Discovery Ride. This has to be my favorite rest stop, fresh bread and cookies, wood fired pizza, and the piece de resistance vanilla ice cream drizzled with honey. Thank Hive and Hearthstone for supporting the L&A ride. See you next year.
