So insanely frustrated with our health care system as a whole! Everyone is correct about the receptionists being short or rude and not answering the phones a lot of the time. Today I went in in person as Shoppers insisted that they sent a fax there in July and again today. I've been out of my medication since July and the receptionist I TRIED to speak with kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain the circumstances and the importance of the medication I take. My doctor always seems to be on vacation which isn't helping the situation. It wasn't until I told the receptionist that I would just get a hold of Glenn (the manager who has been amazing in helping me in the recent past) to get to the bottom of it, that the receptionist then quickly changed her attitude towards me but I had had it by then so just walked out enraged. I get there may be some technical issues causing the fax to maybe not be going through however, the receptionist made me feel unheard, hopeless and rushed. She was on the phone with a man named Steven when I first arrived and was extremely short and rude with him also which was despicable to stand there and listen to while waiting! Maybe some trauma informed training as well as some customer service training is needed in order to not shame clients seeking help.

You need to let your patients talk & listen to what they have to say & ask. We're all going through this right now. I just asked to make an phone call/appointment with my nurse practitioner. Not to argue on the phone with you!!! No wonder why you's have such bad reviews. You are a receptionist/whatever else but not a doctor let them tell us whether we can or can't.

Called me to tell me I had a doctor, then told me they lost my application. I drove up to fill out another application and was told I didn't qualify because I lived out of town. Months had passed since my initial application, so I asked why I wasn't made aware of this at the time my first application was reviewed. I was told it was a new policy (as someone shouted from elsewhere in the office that it wasn't). A complete waste of my time when I could have been exploring other avenues.

I find Chigamik to be very hit or miss.

The Midland Midwives who operate out of the office are incredible.

Theres two receptionists who are sweet as pie and the rest are miserable every single time you call in. If you don't want to answer phones and book appointments maybe try another field.
