Wow, wow, wow. Where do I even begin? This place is an absolute gem that everyone should visit when visiting Lillooet.

Located at 633 Main Street, right next to the post office, The HUB is a vibrant community space that supports local artists, crafters, farmers, food producers, and small businesses. It’s more than just a store; it’s a collective social enterprise that fosters collaboration and lifelong learning.  

𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 encourages sustainable local food systems by allowing community members to borrow seeds, grow plants, and ideally return some seeds to the library for others to use. The guidelines are straightforward: take a few seeds of up to five varieties, fill out the sign-out sheets, grow the plants to seed, and return some to the library. It’s a fantastic way to promote food sovereignty and community engagement.

The HUB also features a retail store where you can purchase Lillooet Grown & Made items. From handcrafted art to locally produced food items, it’s a great place to find unique souvenirs and support local artisans. 

Oh, and I spotted a friend on the wall so I asked the staff if I could take a photo to show him later lol

Don’t skip the Hub when you’re in Lillooet!

Ich war hier vor vier Wochen und habe eingekauft. Der ganze Einkauf war wirklich teuer, aber ich gebe gerne mehr für lokale und gute Produkte aus. Jedoch wurden mir Würste zum Grillen empfohlen, die bereits 7 Monate alt waren. Nachdem sie wirklich widerlich rochen und eklig schmeckten, haben wir auf das Datum geschaut. OK, sie waren gefroren, aber dennoch kann man Fleischwaren keine 7 Monate aufheben. Dabei haben sie 17 Dollar gekostet.

Came by to visit from Kamloops and do some shopping with a friend. Such a welcoming place, staff were very attentive and knowledgeable about their merchandise; hand made in Canada by so many talented artists! Coming back to shop again before the snow flies! We just loved coming to the Hub. Thank you for your sharing and heartwarming hospitality! See you very soon. 🙂
