Tandoori Delights - Woodstock, Ontario

Tandoori Delight's takeout left me wanting more (of something else!). Both the Chilli Chicken and Tikka Masala were swimming in oil, drowning out any flavor they might have had. The Tikka Masala was a particular offender, offering a measly four pieces of chicken lost in a sea of greasy peppers and onions. While I can't speak for the other dishes, this oily disappointment means I won't be rushing back.

Old review when dine in -The food at Tandoori Delight is decent, but not exceptional. It's an okay spot if you're looking for a quick option for Indian cuisine.

We've ordered here 4 times now and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Everyone I've dealt with has been courteous, kind and helpful. I find their food to be absolutely delicious, large portions and very well priced. The Lamb saag and butter chicken are a family favourite along with the garlic naan. We also usually get a few samosas with our order which are always good (love the sauce that comes with them!) I recommend trying one of their stuffed naans as well, those are always a wonderful add on.

An absolute monstrosity for a meal. The meat was cooked after it had gone bad. The oil used to cook the meat was blatantly not changed in a while. The meat was unclean and had much of the blood still inside. It was also undercooked and overcooked in many parts. Customer services are terrible. Do not buy the "food" from this restaurant to keep from endangering the health of your loved ones

I would never visit this place again. Felt very diasappointed on the taste of food. The mashed potatoes tasted old and everything else tasted not good. The noodles also tasted old. The plates and cutleries were not clean. I found stains and leftovers on the plate. Got a piece of steel scrapper from one of the curry. I also saw the chef come out to keep the food in the tray. His apron was so wet and dirty. That felt so disgusting. I felt like my money was spent for nothing.

Very impressed with the food and service here. My neighbour tried the sweets and said they were authentic and excellent, he's from India and knows his sweets. Definitely will be back as often as I can.

Found this gem while driving back to Michigan. Stopped for quick lunch with not much expectations . But wow ! It was such a delight . What an authentic dhaba style punjabi food experience. Reminded me of back home. What a spread for vegetarians. The basics like bhindi masala , daal , kadhi , saag were outstanding . Chicken and goat were also good . The best part was tandoori roti served hot on table snd fish pakora ( lip smacking) and of course the chutneys . The owner was so nice that when we told him that we were driving to Michigan , he made such nice masala chai to go . This is going to be my pit stop every time I go to Canada.

Found out this place while visiting Woodstock. Did not disappoint one bit. Arrived after 3:30pn but was still catered to for lunch. Excellent food and great service. The buffet spread had everything but we opted for A-la carte as we had a kid with us and decided we would rather order a few dishes than the large spread. Ordered the butter chicken with tandoori rotis. Chicken was tender, very succulent and amazingly well cooked. The butter chicken gravy was smooth and just right, not too sweet. The Fish Pakora appetizer was excellent too. Lot of quantity, tender freshly marinated fish, great on taste. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend this place if you're near Woodstock as a must try for great North Indian food.

We went there for a lunch buffet. We really enjoyed the food. The staff brought us hot naan and vegetable and paneer fritters which were really delicious. The Kadhi Pakoda was one of the finest in Ontario. The staff was very nice, friendly and took good care of us. I would highly recommend this place and come again.
