Bel endroit pour une balade et pour l’observation des oiseaux. Attention c’est interdit aux chiens compte tenu de la vocation de réserve naturelle du lac Swan. En passant, il n’y a pas de cygne 😉

This is such a beautiful place! The lake is very peaceful with several new lattice cement bridges and pathways, and different types of birds. The nature center itself is a warm and educational facility with dedicated volunteers. There is no entrance fee.

PLEASE observe the "No Jogging on Boardwalk" signs! It disturbs the wildlife and others walking on the bridge!

DO NOT go here without putting on mosquito repellent. They murder. But the views are beautiful and the varied terrain means that you'll see a lot of birds around the lake. And it's a short walk. 2.5 km. Enjoy.

My class went here for a field trip and it was awesome! We learned tons about owls and the other wildlife around the island. They even had a colony of bees on display which I thought was awesome. Really cheap and worth bringing a class here!
