Shane has been very helpful over the last year with starting up my new business and making sure everything is in compliance with cra rules . We switched our entire company to Swainson Alexander at the end of last summer (2020) and we will never look back. Shane Tenhage is our company's accountant and we cannot say enough good things about him. He is extremely responsive if I ever have any questions, and is always ready to teach me something about our book keeping. He also caught and fixed many mistakes that our last accountant had missed. He has saved us thousands of dollars over the last eight months. If you are looking for a quality accountant, and accounting company, we 100% recommend Shane Tenhage from Swainson Alexander.

I will also mention our company is based out of Ontario. Even though this company is based out of Alberta, it has been extremely easy to work with them. All paperwork is done via email, and Shane is very knowledgeable about any difference in Ontario tax rates/rebates/etc.

We met with an accountant (Ian) at this firm to discuss my dad's pension, which is complicated as my dad has a disability. Although Ian was able to offer advice if not completely answer all of our questions, he did not charge us for an hour of his time. He was very kind and sympathetic to our family. I would go to him again.
