Rooms were clean enough, bed and pillows comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Good for the price and a one night stay. Location convenient, right off the freeway. No elevator and no single king beds on the first floor. I coughed up the extra 5 bucks so I wouldn’t have to drag my bags up the stairs.

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff was very friendly. Great room prices. Very comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Good breakfast offered. Would definitely stay here again. Close enough to the wizard of oz museum and winery. Nice town to visit.

Positive: The staff came every day and checked the room. The staff was courteous and professional. Negative: They need to upgrade their gym equipment. The treadmill is very old and did not work well.

The rooms were clean and the price was right. It is in a good location near restaurants and gas stations. You feel more secure than some other places in Salina. The breakfast had some options and was great for the price paid. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to visit or for someone waiting for their air conditioning to be fixed.

The mark of a great hotel is not one that has no issues but one which deals with issues swiftly. Due to my Aspergers (a form of autism) I am extremely sensitive to cleaning products. The receptionist allowed me to try an alternative room and then switch. She was great. Fantastic shower (movable but with effective pressure throughout). Anti-slip mat available for inside the bath. Plenty of dining options within a few minutes walk/by car. Lovely outdoor pool facility. Petrol (gas) station next door.

It was a good base for the weekend as we did activities in the area. It was clean and mostly comfortable. One of the beds creaked a bit and breakfast could have had a few more options. The hot tub worked though!

I know super 8’s are not the most fancy place to stay but tonight was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Got checked into a room on the non smoking floor and the room smelled so bad like cigarettes. Told the worker about it and he put us in a different room. The 2nd room also smelled so bad to where my kids couldn’t even stand being in the room. Had the room for a whole 30 minutes before I told them that I’d rather just get my money back and go somewhere else. The worker then proceeded to want to smell the room. I asked him not to go in until I made sure my kids were fully dressed first. He proceeded to unlock the door and still walk in without hesitation! Then tried to tell me that the smell wasn’t smoke. He proceeded to tell me since I already entered the room that I could not have a refund! I simply told him I wasn’t going to argue with him at 2am that the room smelled like cigarettes. He then proceeded to walk away and that was the end of that. Just absolutely horrible!

Not sure why this hotel has a good rating! Breakfast consisted of cold cereal or instant oatmeal. The room had multiple defects. Even an outlet cover was missing. Stains on the ceiling. Lack of caulk. Broken AC vent. The list is long. We will never use a Super 8 again!!!!
