Decent prices, but you get what you pay for. Bought a pasta maker for someone for Christmas, "Final Sale". Opened it Christmas day only to find it was clearly used with dried gunked up pasta around the shaft. (See attached) It's a good thing it was heavily discounted though it was supposed to be "New". Clearly the staff didn't open it to properly inspect it when it was clearly returned.

Not too happy about that, also shame on someone to feel that it's right to buy something, use it a fair bit only to return it. What is wrong with the people that think that doing that is even remotely ok. At least have the decency to properly wash it if you're going to be a POS to do that.

Edit:
And after cleaning it and attempting to use it the first time, we come to find out that the extruder part is jammed inside the part that lets you swap to different pasta, so it's deformed and you can't swap the different extrusion plates.

Just went to return a unopened gift to this location- the girl working had zero sense of urgency and seemed hesitant with all her actions on till.

She asked me what card i paid with, so i asked her to look at the receipt to tell me which one (like most people i use multiple cards, so how am i to know?) I had asked if she needed my payment method for the refund, she said no.
She then asked me to insert my card without verifying what card i had used - so she did need my card, even though she said no when i had asked with wallet in hand?
I also apparently was not allowed to keep my original receipt to refer to for my banking? Wonder what would happen if it was multiple items on my receipt?

I work in retail and have for 7+ years and i have patience for people who are training, but when you take 10 minutes to cash out a customer buying two things, don’t know how to process a refund, and have 3 other customers waiting for help unfortunately my patience becomes lost. She needs to have another employee with her or receive additional help as my quick return ended up being a 25 minute trip to one store. Only giving 2 stars because it’s likely not her fault for the lack of training she received

I visited to Calgary first time and went for shopping 🛍️ there, Girl over there was very nice and she helped a lot to find the stuff whatever we want.Prices are very reasonable. Definitely recommended

Today I had a lovely experience at their Market mall location. Stokes has affordable prices and great gift ideas. Pooja was very helpful and I was thankful for great customer service skills. To give you an idea about sales they have today I bought 2 cutting boards and a knife for $7. The deals are still out there you just need to hunt for them! Thanks Pooja for your kindness and knowledge

Manager on dutie Pooja failed the customer service, she did not solve the issue with me together, she just was explaining her self,
in a very rude way, I did lost my gift card amount from 25$ on her store , tryed to charge me twice for the Items, card was approved on her debit mashine but did not go through her system for some reason, called the Credit card company and is was pending, but still she left me without any Items what i did bought or get a any credit back, reach out to customer service, proof is available on my statement. So hope they will reach out and solve the issue for me.

Great finds with big discounts! The staff are very accommodating despite having to assist many customers. Special mention to Janine who was very proactive in offering to assist us with our queries on the cast iron pans. Good job, Stokes Marketmall!
