A welcoming and safe place for just about anyone. Here, you'll find some of the kindest, realest, most genuinely encouraging people I've had the privilege of being around. Yes, they're in a church; no, they won't push an agenda. They just want to help.

Steinbach community outreach is an awesome community based support services for everyone! No judgement is passed, compassion and understanding is offered freely and free hugs, when we need them!😄
Free drop-in for coffee and dainties in the morning, most times, someone is able to chat with you on short notice. Clothing shoes jackets, boots; a free food hamper once a week to help out with groceries, once a month help with toiletries, if needed.
Staff and volunteers are great!
I would recommend this strong and cohesive community based support to anyone, from any walk of life, if and when you need help. They will help you problem solve, when you can't find a solution to many of lifes' problems on your own, or when you feel overwhelmed by lifes' curve balls!
They have helped me out in so many ways, I'm really getting to know many of the Staff, Volunteers and even the odd Board Member.
They were kind enough to assist me by filing my 2022/23 income tax this year, for free! Thank you, John!!
I am excited by the possibilities SCO holds, and I genuinely want to become involved in community service here as a volunteer.
The staff and volunteers have helped me out a great deal, since arriving here in Steinbach over 2 year ago.
I love what SCO stands for, their Mission Statement and how they find accurate, obscure and well-researched information to assist clients in any way they can. This includes well known government benefits many are entitled to; but for one reason or another, haven't applied for benefits.
Sometimes physical and/or emotionally trying times are barriers to accessing these programs, grants, and benefits.
SCO will help you out, they sure have helped me out, in so many ways. I am humbled......,🫂🙏❤️
If they don't know something, they find out! We learn together!
A great place to meet new friends and spend quality time, whenever you want or need.
A great place for those of us who need help desperately, but our pride interferes; working past that pride to ask for help is difficult for me. I'm sure happy that I came in one day, with a friend, to see SCO.
It's now an important part of my support network, and I thank God for helping me through SCO!🥰

Everyone is so welcoming and offer their assistance in any way they can. They make you feel comfortable & able to ask for anything. They've provided me a place to stay when I had no where to go & they are genuinely concerned for the less fortunate & vulnerable people of Steinbach!

They help with clothing, food and what not, how ever, I have to continuesly tell people there, they can not talk, pet or try to get my service dogs attention, yet most people still try to get my service dogs attention. When I finally have to be more stern, I'm the one staff complain to. they can't tell others to stop getting my service dogs attention and to respect my service dog, even though I always seem to have to mention it, and my wishes, instead just make me out to be the bad guy.

Great staff and volunteers to assist in providing food hampers, clothing, housewares, and bedding. Information on further resources within the community are offered. Grab a cup of coffee and connect with your community. Wonderful community gathering place for families and individuals.
