Les employés et les bénévoles sont incroyablement gentils et attentionnés. Ils travaillent vraiment avec leur cœur. Ils ont récemment remarqué que Emily n'était pas tout à fait elle-même et m'ont contacté aussitôt. Steer est un endroit où vous savez que votre enfant sera bien pris soin, socialisé et engagé. Emily adore être là-bas

A wonderful and caring day program for young adults who have physical and developmental disabilities along with medical needs. My daughter Emily has been attending for a year during school holidays and now that she has graduated from school, she will be attending this program full time. Staff and volunteers are amazing and so caring. They truly work with their heart. Just this week, they noticed that Emily was not quite herself and reached out to me right away. Steer is a place that you know your child will be well taken care of, socialized, and engaged. Emily just loves being there!!!

As a parent of a young adult with special needs, one of the biggest concerns if not the biggest is to find a safe welcoming place for my daughter post high school. After 15 years plus in the school system, their is a healthy stimulating routine that is established, for that just to stop would be completely demoralizing. To say that Jacqueline and her staff at STEER FRIENDS are a godsend is a vast understatement. The quality of care and support they give to Emily is second to none. I feel completely at ease knowing the professional and loving care she receives at Steer, and Emily thoroughly looks forward to participating in the program.
Thank-you so much to you and your wonderful staff Jacqueline I cannot say enough good things about your program, and how vitally important and invaluable the contribution is that you make in so many lives!

I spent the past summer here volunteering and it is a fantastic place. The staff and our Friends are all so kind and caring. It is NOT just a daycare. It is a small community where everybody is included. It's hard to find a place just as understanding, patient, and accommodating as Steer Friends.
