I love all of the St. Vincent de Paul locations in Sarnia, lots of ever changing selection and always friendly staff. I love donating here as-well and the staff are always so thankful!

After donating some clothing, I stopped into the store briefly just to see what it was like. I was completely shocked at the overpriced items. Why? I’m sure expenses can’t be that high - rent, utilities. If people are donating to help the needy, why are items cheaper at Dollar Tree, Value Village, Talize, Goodwill and the Mission Store How is this helping the poor
$25 for a blender They’re $35 on Amazon and $10 at Talize!! Perhaps the core Christian purpose needs to be looked at more closely. Don’t the poverty stricken need these items? Why charge them so much? Very disappointing.

Tried to get help and found my situation , regardless of the point in the process, never met the criteria for assistance. Not just this organization but the others too. Curious as to what they do to prevent homelessness? Won’t be donating a dime to any of these lol “charities”.
