I had an operation done at this hospital and being my first operation and being put under, I was quite nervous. My worries were quickly put to rest by the staff, so much care and receptive to my questions. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Worst experience with emergency doctor of name Dr Fazel . She had bad attitude towards us from when she came into room said my son last name in a certain discriminative tone . Rolled her eyes as my son has a mild mental disability where he's limited as to how explain things so I have to as his mother and caregiver. She acted as though we had made up why he came in as though we were some how inconvenience her . My son had emergency that involved blood and we were told to go to Estevan cause they be more equipped with medical machines to see somthing we couldn't internally and that clinic wouldn't be right for what he was experiencing. Anyway after waiting four hours to see doc to have some help or treatment to ease his fear of why that was happening, the doctor demeaned us and treated us as though we had been lying even after we showed her a picture . His pain disapapated after wards on off during whole time we drove there from hour away he had pain it was explained all to the doc. She rudely spoke to us and judgementally spoke like" oh I don't see him in pain or blood everywhere so this isn't calling for emergency scan or ultrasound , maybe should've come earlier !?" ..Made my disabled son feel like he wasn't worth caring for . We left with my son stating "mom how come that doc didn't help me I'm scared" and he cried. We left with no answers but a stool test given by other nurse not doctor . I'm so furious of how we were treated by that doctor Fuzel . I highly warn against seeing that doctor if your Indigenous be aware of her because she gave off very discriminative mannerism and verbal communication was very judgemental and no solution nor was very helpful towards us in away shape or form seek second opinion.

I have never had a bad experience with care at this hospital nor staff at this hospital…every bad experience I have had was being witness to rude and sometimes completely disrespectful patients. It is well known that our hospital is understaffed, and all of this negativity and the complaints from those who enter with no patience and understanding in regards to this has already cost us some exceptional doctors, suspensions on false accusations…knowing this, how many doctors would CHOOSE to practice here?

Most of the people that work at this hospital are wonderful and really care. I have received good care here more times than I can count.

I’m only writing this because the receptionist(main phone line) needs a new job or a positivity enhancement. You don’t have to be needlessly rude and negative to me just because you don’t want to be at your job. I do not deserve that, and neither do any of the patients who are coming to you for help.

If you can make it to any other hospital, do so. Doctors never want to take new patients making Emergency wait times astronomical. Its not the nurses or receptions fault, Estevan just cant keep doctors.

I took in my baby for severe constipation and doctor basically dismissed my concerns and told me to keep giving my baby laxatives. Laxatives aren't meant for 13 month olds unless it is recommended by doctors and still you got to only give them 1/2 teaspoon a day with lots of fluids, unless they are over 2 years old and you can give them 1/2 a teaspoon twice a day. This doctor told me to keep giving her fluids and to also keep on giving her laxatives in one day till her stool is soft. She did not clarify how much just to keep on giving it to her after I already gave her some. Extremely dangerous and uneducated advice. Not even an adult can take alot of laxatives in one day. Doctor in Redver handled this way better and actually gave me the proper directions on giving laxatives to 13 month olds per day, not "just keep giving it to her".

Reception is incredibly rude, the woman just hung up on me. She let my husband sit in the waiting room for hours before I called and found out they have a walk-in clinic WHICH they never told my husband....They let him know 15 minutes before it closes....Do they hire educated people at this hospital? I have never dealt with such uneducated people in Healthcare!
