Brain injury society"was" very much resourceful and very much enjoyed helping the community especially the ones who r in need... But honestly iv been here all my life born and raised here and the key word "was" helpful is the key message ...iv got a housing worker but I only seen once and a worker who wasn't mine nocked on my door and asked me for my sin number and I only got few months left on my rent subbtity and I have only received it for two months of my knowledge now I'm almost out and I can't get another...cause Brain injury society apparently pays half your rent for 6 months well my rent got raised never got winter rates and they're collecting my rent subbtity to without my knowledge and I called and asked and they totally slipped over my question ❓ is this legal

This place is a joke. I'm homeless with ABI and their website advertises help with housing, food, and warmth needs. They have nothing. They don't answer the phone, they don't get back to you. An absolute joke of "help" for people with ABI. Just a bunch of holier than thou workers sitting on a fat paycheck.

Brain injury Society has helped me when nobody else was willing to help me they reached out and they have helped me move from living in motels to living in an actual apartment and getting skills that I have had but put on a backburner

They need more volunteers. They got lots more good resources for people with mental illness who are at risk of homelessness and poverty.
