Our experience with this place was extremely disappointing. Despite booking an appointment for Infant Hearing through their website, we arrived to find that the center was closed during their stated business hours. The sign on the door indicated they were closed on Thursday mornings, which contradicted the appointment availability on their website. When we attempted to seek assistance by knocking on the door, we were met with indifference from the staff inside, who seemed more interested in their own conversation than addressing our concerns. We knocked door again, but the staff inside continued their conversation and ignored us with the newborn baby wandering in front of the door. The lack of professionalism and disregard for their scheduled appointments left us feeling frustrated and undervalued as clients.

I've been coming here for years, but it seems they don't answer the phones anymore. I've been trying to make an appointment for the last week and I'm sitting on hold for 30+ minutes everytime.

It's 2024 why don't you have an answering machine when even the hospitals that are SO much more busier than you have them?

Had enough of this place. Unfortunately, it's not easy to find a new family doctor in the city so I have to stick it out. I dread calling in for any reason, because what could be resolved in 2mins will be dragged on for up to 4 weeks going around in circles. As others have said, the admin is terrible and so are the nurses who I've encountered over the phone. Referrals get lost and I constantly have to follow up. There is no proper triaging of your concern when you call (if you even get through) which makes for unnecessarily long wait times. No issues with my primary care provider whatsoever- I wish I didn't have to go through so much before speaking to her. My family and I have been with this CHC since we arrived in Canada 12 yrs ago and nothing has changed. I wish we could call ourselves lucky for having a primary care provider, but this place makes us question that.

Have been with this clinic for the longest time. The doctors are absolutely excellent. They are caring, understanding and thorough. The receptionists and nurses are helpful, professional and efficient. Nothing is perfect in this world and so it goes that doctor availability as well as nurse practioner availability is the issue with South Nepean Health Centre. Just not enough hands to meet the demand. You can't be seen when you really want or need to be seen. It is the waiting that tends to drive me to walk in clinics. It would be great, if this health centre had an additional walk in service and more evening hours besides Tue and Wed.

Went for an annual medical yesterday and the staff, nurses and doctors were prompt, pleasant and very efficient. The only problem I have with this place is trying to get through by telephone. Don't bother trying or you will wait forever and the receptionist I spoke to was difficult to understand. Edit. Nothing has change 15 mins on hold and still waiting. Worst clinic I have ever been to!

I have no problems with our family physician. My doctor is very accommodating, kind, caring, and is very thorough. I have an overall problem with the receptionists and my nurse practitioner who is now seeing me instead of my doctor. There are so many accounts where our appointments have been cancelled or have never been booked, and honestly, I am up to my neck with it. I booked an appointment two weeks ago and was supposed to come in today. I was told on the phone that the nurse was actually not in for the week, so I would see my doctor instead. It didn't really matter to me, so I agreed. I walked in to my appointment today and was told that I didn't have one and there wasn't even a scheduled one for a later date, which meant that my appointment was never booked. It's a waste of my time to drive over there (while sick, mind you) expecting to be helped, and discovering that I was never penciled in! I obviously couldn't wait for another appointment because I was indeed sick, so I visited an appletree instead which my nurse will shame me for as she seemingly always does when I go to an appletree. They also don’t have an e-mail system, which is terrible for receiving or sending documentation. My physiotherapist and pharmacist have had to fax over requests multiple times as this clinic doesn’t seem to be receiving their requests until the 3rd or 4th time we resend requests. Another addition to my frustration. I'm not even trying to be rude, but this incident is one of many, and this hopefully will be the last one.

No issue at all with my doctor, she is great. The administrative staff on the other hand is AWFUL. They put you on hold immediately without even asking why you are calling. They generally seem bothered just dealing with patients period. Two big thumbs down!

I really like Dr. Murtaza our family physician. I do not like the phone system, it is slow and archaic. I have complained about it to the office manager, but to no avail. The receptionists are pleasant enough. Now they have glass barriers in place in front of the reception area, apparently to stop germs from getting into the reception area!
