Great place to go if you're looking to be psychologically abused in exchange for a sandwich.

Security does nothing about people smoking in line and near doors and alcoves.

The unhoused, addicted and troubled frequent the establishment without management.

In fact "management" (Paul Fart security.) is about as unhinged as it gets.

Oh. Hair was found in food. The free offerings by the service window can be moldy or rotten.

Penticton, like all else, needs so much work and is so messed up that it's ridiculous.

This place offers free food to whoever needs it. It’s usually a soup, a sandwich and a small dessert. Most of the people who come here to have a free meal are junkies, homeless people and/or fruit pickers; sometimes the junkies can be harassing so be careful.

The food is acceptable, they change the meal every day, so if you go regularly you will never eat the same meal two days in a row.

The people who work/contribute there are mostly elder people, with a very kind and positive attitude.

If you want, you can take a couple of sandwiches or pieces of bread to go, depending on how much food they have left.

There's sometimes bread, fruits or vegetables or clothes, socks or accessories one could take if needed.
