I’m gonna start by saying I’m how unimpressed I am with how this place runs. I had taken out a small personal loan and was told the interest rate was going to be locked for one year. However that was nowhere near the case, my interest rate sky rocketed. In the mean time I had ended up switching my chequing account to a different bank but had left my prior account open, I gave a void cheque to swap my payments over to my new account while my old account remained open. Just in case something was to go wrong I would have the money come out of the overdraft as I had taken all my funds and transferred it to my new account. Well it came out of that account and went into overdraft. I then reached out and asked them to swap this over again as I was closing my old chequing account. I sent another void cheque and told them this could not happen again. They told me they swapped it over and next payment will come out of my new account. The payment wasn’t coming out for another month so they had tons of time to get this all sorted in time for the next payment. And well the payment bounced because yet again they had not changed it. I was so disappointed and pissed. I will say, customer service is decent with the girls at the front. There are certain people there that are very unprofessional and just simply don’t care. As of today I paid my loan in full closed all accounts and I will never return to support that place.

New online banking system wanted my personal accounts and a buisness condo account that I was Treasurer of linked to my personal banking. I told them no I want them seperate sign ins. I was told it can't be done. They said it had to be one sign in for anyting my name was on. I am no longer with that condo board went into the bank to have myself removed and new Treasurer in my place. Weeks later it is still attached to my personal banking and I have full access. Very unprofessional and dangerous for businesses. Wasting more of my time to get it figured out.

Every experience I had with a Servus representative was bad start to finish. Happily closed out my accounts today

The banking system is ok but there's some people in the organization that have zero compassion for anything or anyone. They don't take these hard times into consideration and instead of be somewhat patient then send your file directly to a law firm which then tacks on another 2500 dollars in already accumulated debt. I'm not going to say her name, just me wary of people in that branch.

I’ve never experienced this poor of customer service. When you call their answer is to wait and see if the issue it fixes itself. The online banking is out more than it is working… plus this bank puts money on hold longer than any bank I’ve ever used. Honestly so disappointed with the horrible service.

No ATM access during closed hours, employees clutch their pearls and stare at you like you're trying to rob them if you arrive earlier then opening, drive thru ATM doesn't work half of the time so good luck with that. What a pathetic excuse of a financial institution.

I absolutely respect and admire that this business refused to allow Take Back Alberta (imho) lunatics to have their little function in their space. David Parker, (imho) you and your sheep need to go find a gravel -pit with a bonfire and rant against the machine of life that is passing you by. Well done to this business. All the support. 1981 is calling for you David, best not answer as history has taught most of us something. Well done to this business. Carry on.

I have been banking with Servus credit union for around 15 years. This bank has to be the worst bank ever! Since new manager came in I have had money stolen for life insurance on my mortgage, after being denied by Servus. I was denied because I had cancer. Yet that never stopped the payments being removed. They absolutely “Refused” to return $1200.00 back to my personal bank account, after being made aware they were taking it wrongfully. Less than one year ago my husband passed away. The manager (Adam) has continually given my confidential information regarding my mortgages to complete strangers. I’m sole owner since my husband passed away.

Adam has allowed personal information related to my mortgages, banking info to just anyone that calls the branch. I’m not supposed to know this, but it’s come out in legal documents..
The branch has “Sent mail” related to property insurance, and bank statements, to another property knowing I don’t live there. They’ve compromised my private information to complete strangers, knowing I haven’t lived at the address since 2014. They’ve even had there lawyer contact me just recently, saying that I had “no home” insurance (which I sure did) telling me I owe a $500.00 lawyer bill now. When asked why is that? I’m told they insured my property without my knowledge, assuming I had no home insurance. I guess according to Servus Credit Union, I must use the same home insurance broker because they say so.
Apparently, I’m not allowed to switch and save an extra $2000 a year on home insurance premiums. Therefore, they retain a lawyer, to tell me what I can and can not do. The branch doesn’t call me or send me a letter to ask, if my insurance is up to date, instead they go behind the customers bank and force them to pay there lawyers attorney bill. Complete negligence on this branch! Unprofessional!

It gets worse. Today I was informed they are not going to renew my mortgage this February 2023, by Tina Svrcek of Servus Credit Union. She informed me, after 12 years having two mortgages with Servus Credit Union on St. Albert Trail, they are dropping me as a customer. and my two mortgages with there bank. Not that I want to be with them any longer anyways, but right when mortgage rates have gone sky high. All because I let Tina Svrcek know that I’m not paying the legal bill there trying to have me pay. Or an extra mortgage payment she’s trying to claim I owe. I track every mortgage payment by etransfer. Why not, slip a legal bill in as a mortgage? Right?
They’ve informed me, to take all my mortgages and banking business to Alberta Treasury Branch. NICE!
I guess after having our mortgages with them 12 years, banking with them 15 years, they’ve made a lot of money off my husband and I. Since his passing why not get rid of the one tracking the lies and . Stealing by this bank. Don’t ever call them out for what there doing to you behind the scenes. Otherwise, you’ll be told to take your business elsewhere, like I’ve been informed today November 9, 2022.

Adam told me I should be happy even though I didn’t qualify for mortgage life insurance. (Even though denied) Yet it’s okay to take monthly premiums. (Like) they they so proudly screwed up! Then I’m told I should be happy. When asked, if I were to die, to Adam, (SCU manager,) and corporate I asked, when I reported this mistake, to head of Servus Credit Union, I’m told NO, they would NOT absolutely honour my life insurance to my family. Watch your bank statements! Watch charges not supposed to be on your statements.
My husband and I, had a business account, personal accounts, and mortgage accounts with this bank! They have given people our confidential information out. Do not trust this branch! There is no support or communication or back lash for what they’ve done.

There is no call backs. No customer service. Then they lie and say they didn’t have my correct information. Get this? I just renewed my other property. Also owned a new account with Callie Wong after my husband passed away, providing the same contact information I’ve had since 2014.
