We were with service on my husbands card. He tried to get approved for a mortgage and they never gave him a consistent number every time they called it was different. So he went to close the account and went to ATB and because of that the lady he dealt with for a mortgage called and yelled at him for switching. Highly do not recommend.

talked to kristi about a car loan, she got me so excited and then ghosted me, after requesting my letter of employment. I have emailed many times and never heard back from her. Poor poor poor customer service. Wish I checked reviews before trying. Don’t recommend this place or Kristi sadly.

I switched from servus a while ago and never looked back. They charge the same fees as a big bank yet give you 30 year old technology and long lines for customer service.

Went on a trip to the USA and our cards didn't work even though we told servus. We called them and they said they can't guarantee their cards will work internationally and there's no way to know what banks or ATMs in the USA will work.

Every time you call you have to leave a voicemail and they will call you back, I played phone tag for about 2 months until i got tired and switched, but in that time i realized their phone number is just an answering machine

The 1.25 I got in servus money for having my money with them for a year was laughable. They said I could be entered into a draw...

My family and I have had so many issues. Not only with this branch but Servus Credit Union in general. 1 of many issues was when I closed my account down with them back around September of 2022. They asked me if I had a Mastercard with them and if I wanted to cancel the card. And that was my plan. I was told the card was canceled and my account was closed. Only to find out 6 months later that my mastercard was never canceled and flagged as fraud. Many other issues occurred with my parents. I have since switched banks and haven't had any issues since leaving Servus.

This branch made so many mistakes on my mortgage that I no longer trust them. And the mistakes keep happening. Their attention to detail is non existent. Once my mortgage comes due I will no longer deal with them.

update.... my mortgage has been paid off for almost 2 years and I found out today that they have never discharged it!!!

.Gave servus copy of will and death certificate.
Still can not find out anything about his acct and I am the executor,
Everytime I go into the bank it takes at least 30 mins., Today it was 40 mins to deposit a check from CPP and make a draft to me for funeral expenses.
On what planet is this ok?

Aug,2023 I now know why this bank kept me out of Richards acct, not giving me statements. He had life insurance, and yes after a year of fighting for it - I won!
Never ever close your acct until you see what has been going out automatically. Insurance would have been voided if I had.
To close out the acct in the end I needed a clearance certificate ( this visit was a 45 min for $10,000) funny they wanted me to close out acct before I found the insurance)
Go to close out other acct with Royal Bank and they said Clearance certificate is not needed as that is a Revenue Canada thing.
Closed in less then 5 mins.
As a executor of a person's estate you want to be extremely careful. Insurance on credit cards, insurance on life.
Remember they are not there to help you at this company - not a chartered Bank
And they will rip your loved one off.
I was not the one who benefited from this crazyness but today I am glad that my friends estate ended up with over $130,000 more because I did my job.
I will never ever go into this horrible place again.
They can keep the $600 for interest that they stole for interest on a MasterCard they took first visit and said it was cancelled.
Never giving me the number to call until a year later. I even got told as an executor it was my responsibility to cancel the card. Don't give up any cards until you are done with everything / don't trust this Company as you have NO ONE to complain to. NOT A CHARTERED BANK!
RUN!!!!!! GET YOUR MONEY OUT OF THERE!

Incompetency and carelessness at its absolute finest with this credit union. My partner and I had both been customers for many many years, but not anymore.

We were in the process of having our mortgage transferred over to another bank due to financial need. During this process, Servus (without ANY communication to us whatsoever) froze all the funds in my partners account the day he got paid from work for THREE DAYS. We had zero access to any money for that time and it created the most stressful situation we’ve ever been in. Their excuse? “It was a weekend”. To note, this was also taking place during the pandemic when my hours of work had been very limited.

Also, when the other bank was requesting the mortgage statement, Servus told them “it didn’t exist”......and by this point, my partner had been paying the mortgage through Servus for 7 YEARS. How does that document not exist?

I have never experienced such blatant, repetitive carelessness with an institution. When I emailed Servus asking for my accounts to be closed, they asked if there was any specific reason why. I replied with the very clear reasons as to why I was so unhappy and I didn’t even get a response. I also didn’t even get answers as to why this happened or an apology when I went IN PERSON to close my accounts.

The accountability and responsibility that this bank refuses to take is truly disgusting.

I am so incredibly disappointed with how this credit union is run and managed. The experience above is only one of many.

I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere, to a place where you will be respected, and have your questions answered appropriately.

I went in to do a pension transfer and their "expert"filled out the paperwork incorrectly ,no one bothered to let me know and the person who completed it was never available anytime I tried to contact them,I went in person to try to get some clarification, the manager was not helpful at all and because so much time had passed I have to start the whole process again.I understand people make mistakes but once they are made they should take responsibility and be helpful in trying to rectify the situation. I was not impressed at all waited weeks upon weeks only to fine out it was done incorrectly, I wasn't going to get any assistance and now have to redo the thing.
