I recently purchased my first home and the exciting experience was spoiled due to the tardiness of the Drayton Valley branch of Servus Credit Union. I had been attempting to redeem my RRSP's since I qualified for the first time home buyers plan. Since I said the words "buying a home" I was contacted immediately by the branch. Once they found out I was purchasing elsewhere due to their terrible rates, my file must have ended up on the back burner. I almost missed the closing date due to not getting my down payment together. Luckily I managed to get ahold of the manager that rectified the situation in less than an hour. I am just curious how something that takes less than an hour to do, took several weeks? Thanks DV Servus, you disappoint yet again.

Really poor customer service, were reluctant to do what I asked that other branches will happily do for me. People at the front were quite rude, snotty and difficult to deal with. Are not helpful or happy to help you. Young daughter went in there to cash her first check she has ever received and the lady just barked at her and she left quite upset. Have had nothing but problems with this bank in drayton. Definitely switching. Would recommend any bank but this one. Terrible experience every time.

I've been dealing with SCU-D.V. ever since it amalgamated with the local credit union. It's always worked for me and the staff have been very helpful with the financial advice.
