This is a great store that has stepped up its game. Great collection of books (softcovers $2 and hardcovers $4), good clothing , framed artwork & prints downstairs as well as kitchen ware, DVDs and other media. Spirited staff.

A young man in the back saved me from donating an item my son would have been furious about losing! His honesty is truly refreshing, especially in today’s culture where taking often overshadows giving. I just want to extend my thanks to the young man who is always at the back of the parking lot. As for the store, it’s a gem—very much a local Oakville signature where you can find little treasures if you take the time to look closely.

I love this place but the manager here is horrible! I had something to exchange today and the lovely lady at the cash called him up to help me. He came over in a very bad mood and was complaining the whole time. He made me feel pretty bad and uncomfortable and I could tell that the cashier was uncomfortable too. She apologized to me for his behavoir after he left which I appreciated but I still won't be coming back here for a while as this isn't the first time I've seen this man in a bad mood (last time it was towards someone else). Sorry but you've lost a loyal customer for now until this man is gone or changes his attitude!

Its hit and miss for one of a kind items but if you need clothes or kitchen items shoes and or other misc household items than this is the place to get it used and fairly cheap. The staff are all so great and the owner is so hands on and friendly. If you are thinking of donating then this is a great place to gift your cherished belonging to.
