Indian with glasses almost skimmed me out of $3 at the cash register. They dont give back correct change, tally it, then pocket it at the end of the day. 5'2, male, brown, glasses. working the till at 4pm Saturday the 19th of July

It's convenient to have close to home. As a retired employee of 29 years I know how service was then and you could never get away with not smiling at a customer or greeting them.
Most of the cashiers are rude and look like robots.
Someone should take the time to encourage their staff to be kind and curious.. or just smile and acknowledge that I'm a paying customer!

How embarrassing for the Safeway in Chestermere alberta. This will be the second time in the last 3 months and the third time in the last year that I've had to leave my groceries at your checkout because there's nobody working your till. Your self-service open but they don't accept cash and also I don't work for you so I'd like to have a till where I can use cash and talk to human attendant. I would have thought that customer service was still Paramount but I guess when you're that big you don't really care what your customers think. Great business plan. 9:40pm April 1 2025

Store is pretty awesome, but the staff forces you to use the stupidest self checkout machines ever. I was buying 10 packets of creme filled bun at 9.45 pm. Cashier told me tills are closed I have to use self checkout since Im paying with debit. Scan the item place it on the weighing scale till the machine calculates if im buying the right stuff * 10 times, whereas the cashier could instantly change the quantity of the items at the till.

Best grocery store/convenience store in chestermere. They have the best plants in all of chestermere including Venus fly traps, and beautiful bouquets. Hot meals and cold meals beautiful seafood and produce. One issue is the customer service and the price but other than that I would highly recommend it.
