We, the Stock family, can’t say enough about the incredible service and compassion shown by Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel during a difficult time for our family.

We had been waiting for over a year for our late Mother’s monument to be ordered and mounted at the cemetery which was all prepaid to Shannon Monumental prior to our mother’s passing. We began to get a bit anxious as the process seemed to be taking an unusually long time. With no progress and lack of correspondence we were left in limbo. The situation was heartbreaking, and we were unsure how to proceed.

That’s when we reached out to Nathalie, manager and funeral director at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, completely independent from Shannon Monumental, who went above and beyond to help us in every way possible. Nathalie was incredible. She took immediate action, connecting us with a reputable monument company, Medicine Hat Monumental Co. Ltd., to ensure the project was escalated and completed.

Equally impressively and with no obligation, the owners, Roger Sept and Cameron Davis reimbursed our family for the full amount that had been prepaid —we were deeply grateful for
this.

A special thank you to Natalie, who was truly a guiding light during this entire process. Her compassion, patience, and determination to navigate this situation for our
family was exceptional. She made what felt like an impossible situation feel manageable, and her kindness was a comfort to us all.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, Medicine Hat Monumental Co. Ltd. fulfilled their commitment, and above our expectations mounted the headstone on our mothers birthday—a meaningful and emotional moment for our family.

We are so thankful to everyone at Saamis for their unwavering support and for making sure our mothers memory was honoured in the most beautiful and respectful way.

We will forever be grateful for the professionalism, care, and empathy shown to our family during such a challenging time.

I would like to thank Cam and Rodger Sept for their integrity, kindness and heart in helping right a wrong done by Mike Tivadar at Shannon Monumental. With no conection to Shannon Monumental they have taken it apon themselves to make sure that everyone that has been wronged in the past two plus years is taken care of as well as legally pursuing the matter.This means so much to my sister and I as our mother has had an unmarked grave for over two years and now we know why. They have re-embersed us our money so that we can go elsewhere and finally get her headstone.
