Hike the phallic loops with a friend. It was great. Lovely to be out in the cedar forest along the east side. Trails are well maintained and marked. Great views of the south end. Loved that there was an out house at the look out. There were many of leash dogs on the parking lot.

Honestly I've been hiking this since I was a teen, so obviously I enjoy it. However, this year I finally had the courage to walk it in the winter. Despite being Canadian I'm a wuss when it comes to the cold haha. My worries notwithstanding, the hike was amazing. The wind blew dusting of light snow from the still snowy trees even though down below there had been some melting for two weeks. The view at the top was absolutely stunning and I would have loved to stay longer at the top, but once you leave the safety of the trees and your body cools down from that hike, it's a little chilly. Anywho, it's a good hike for whatever level you're at as there's multiple trails and all are well marked out by coloured triangles.

This is my favourite place to trail run! I typically run the outer loop in a clockwise direction, including the short out and back to the first viewpoint overlooking Armstrong. This route will get you close to 9 kilometres, it has some challenging climbs, and is all singletrack except the last part (blue marked trail), which is an old road going back down to the parking lot.
This trail system is multi use (hike, bike, horse, and dogs), has great single track with challenging climbs, and a bunch of view points....what more could you ask for!

Beautiful! Quiet and peaceful! However I didn't make it far before I met up with another hiker, who asked me where my bear spray was? I didn't have any at the time so I turned around and will be going back better prepared! So a must visit but from what I am told there are frequent bear sightings but no attacks.

We did the hike with a toddler, and it was about 7km from the car park to the lookout and back. Great views and not bad if you want to stretch your legs:)

This is such a great little hike. Camped up here years ago with friends, fun memory. I was surprised how many people were out with the snow so soft. The sunshine these days has been so awesome though. If you are looking for something to do during the global quarantine, take someone up here. It looks like the lady bugs are excited about spring too.

Enjoyed the hike. Stopped to enjoy a fire at the lookout just for kicks, had some nice views and the trails seemed to be well marked. I will likely hike it again.
