I've said this before, and I'll say it again: this organization is phenomenal. At 18, I was hesitant and unsure about the program, but let me tell you, it's incredibly beneficial for young mothers under 25.I attended the All Babies Count (ABC) program every week, where I networked with moms of similar ages, received weekly essentials like milk, eggs, and bread, and learned about pregnancy and infancy stages.Through Rose of Sharon, I received a Christmas basket annually from supportive families. The organization offered young moms high school education, Microsoft certification, parenting certification, and collaborated with Triple PPP.This organization offers guidance to mothers and provides monthly support to young mothers with packages of baby food, diapers, wipes, and formula. They also operate Rosie's Closet, which accepts donations of baby and children's clothing, toys, books, and more from community members.Even if the Rose of Sharon school was too far away, you could still participate regularly, as they offered transportation assistance for programs, provided you lived within the GTA.

This is only a little bit of what they have done and can do. Amazing place.They truly help boost my confidence as a mother.

Rose of Sharon Services for Young Mother moved to 1145 Nicholson Road, Unit 2, Newmarket. It’s a lovely location to serve pregnant and parenting young women and their babies.

In theory this is an amazing organization helping young mothers, so I was excited to finally find a great place during my pregnancy.

I can’t say I had a great experience though.

Throughout my time with ROS, staff consistently left me out of group chats, emails, and workshops. I was not made aware of things that I should have been made aware of and then penalized and blamed when I asked someone about things happening and why I’m constantly being excluded and forgotten about.

The worst part for me was when I was having a hard time postpartum and needed counselling but was not comfortable speaking to my assigned counsellor because she treated me poorly compared to how she treated the other girls. Thankfully she is no longer with ROS.

I have pretty thick skin so while I am upset about my overall experience, I’ll be okay. My concern is if this is happening with other girls too who need more support and aren’t getting it the same way I didn’t.

Very disappointing form an organization that claims to help support and uplift you as a young mother.

i honestly love rose of sharon so much, they have helped me more then anyone else has, they never judged me for becoming a mom at 14. im so grateful i got to meet so many new friends at the rose of sharon, i hated school so much and now i love it because of them. im so thankful that i got told about this amazing school, i never wanna stop going there. when i graduate i might have to get a job there because it’s literally my favourite place. i have the best teacher ever. i love her so much, shes so pretty and shes inspired me so much. im so glad she was patient with my stubbornness and gave me the chance to change, everyone is so welcoming and loving there.

Wonderful place with great people serving the community in providing so much to those who need it. When my wife and I had our first child the staff here helped my wife with a lot from food to toys ,clothes and resources to help her cope with the great change of being a mother. Their support staff is awesome i thank Jesus for such a wonderful charity.

The rose has helped me alot. After getting pregnant at 16 and thinking my life was over. The rose pushed me and encouraged me to finish....and.... I did. Not only that, the suported me alot
