As a couple that had a high risk pregnancy that had to fly from Labrador to have our child at the Janeway, we were worried about the financial burden that such a trip can be. We were so well looked after here! We stayed for eleven nights and was well looked after for all of them. Every staff member/volunteer was amazing to interact with. There's almost always somebody cooking a homemade meal here so you have no worries about going hungry. After our son was born, they made sure we had a crib in our room so that he could sleep safely. The community aspect makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. We made friends, vented our fears, and had an awesome time with our fellow residents. The house is always so clean and organized, and it takes no time to get your bearings and feel right at home.

To all the staff at RMHNL, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You helped a set of nervous new parents relax and feel welcome despite being from the literal other end of the province. Your kindness and respect will never be forgotten.
