This will be the last year ordering. Fraud is not acceptable business practice. Sent me wrong turkeys on purpose in my order. I ordered Orlopp Bronze Turkey and they sent me Artisan Gold Turkey which is about half the size and takes longer to get to the smaller size. If I had a business license I would be pursing this legally, maybe next time! Lesson learnt Never hatchery again.
On a side note, my own chickens turned out to be almost twice the size of the chickens I have ordered in previous years.

If you want unpredictability in your orders ie cancellations, delays and an inability to send the birds to the correct location this place is right for you. They have disappointed us on more than one year in a row and didn’t seem to be at all concerned with the inconvenience, or the planning that goes into raising poultry.

The people working here are some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with over the phone. I had some chicks not survive the first week, and when I called in just to let them know about it they offered to send me replacement birds! I am super happy with their ordering system, the quality of the birds, and the outstanding customer service. Keep up the good work!

Great service! Have been using for 2 years. Had 1 set of meat birds die out of countless orders, but mostly had good luck and have ordered quite a variety of their breeds in last 2 years.

I got great quality chicks and great customer service.
Edit: Over a year later, these birds are still healthy and strong. They have now produced a bunch of healthy chicks as well. The resiliency of Rochester birds are so far above and beyond other hatcheries I've used in the past. I know they have a great quality of genetics and must take care of their birds well. Still very satisfied!

We have dealt with Rochester Hatchery for years for our small flock needs. Have purchased turkeys, meat birds and dual purpose birds from them and have been very happy with the quality of their birds. We have our birds sent to us by mail with overnight delivery directly to our closest post office which is much better than trying to send them to your home address. The post office workers are always happy to hand over our box of "peepers" and we put them directly into our preheated brooding area. Thanks to Rochester Hatchery for being there for us!

Due to inflation, my family is raising our own food once again. I rated 5 stars solely because they are cute chicken nuggets!... I mean cute chicks. Hopefully long term we suffer no losses but only time will tell. God bless.

Great birds and great people. Ordered non-vacinated barred rock pullets. Got all pullets as ordered. Turned out I was able to pick them up 1 day early which helped me out. They are now 15 weeks and very happy and healthy. As a bonus they gave me one extra chick at no charge. The extra chick is a rooster that I am very happy about. He's a nice addition to the flock. Thanks Rochester hatchery.
