This is a nice Coop. Relatively clean, seems quiet enough most of the time and quite a few kids playing together all the time. It has 50 units and it is relatively well maintained. We lived here for around 8 years and it was very nice. The work to do is minimal and worth it. The mbership is not as friendly as we would've liked but it was tolerable. Too many people who dont care about their neighbours. Keep to themselves and seems they are here just to get cheaper rent. Rates here are 80% of market value so not that cheap but they make sure the units are clean and in good shape. The coop is adjacent to a french-immersion elementary school (Mitchell Elementary) and close to Cambie Highschool. There are quite a few nearby restaurants -good ones like Lotus, Little Ong-Pin, LACHICKEN, and a couple of popular Chinese places, a great Kebab place a japanese restaurant and a few mediocre, big-chain places like Domino's, Panago, Subway and Church's chicken as well. There is a Shoppers Drugmart, a fresh grocery store, salon, Barber, dollar store, a credit union, Royal Bank, a public library and for those who drink, a liquor store. Lastly, the coop is sandwiched between two large parks - King George park and Mitchell park. King George has a w)small-ish water park, tennis courts, fake-grass field which is usually taken up by a miriad of clubs (soccer, field hockey, footbal) and around four baseball/softball diamonds. In the summer, they have open-air movie nights. Very popular with the kids. Cambie community centre is situated in the same complex as a Cambie High-school and has a lot of great course and extra curricular activity offerings. The only thing we are missing here is a community pool. Still, it is ok as Watermania and the Movie theatres are only 15 minutes away by car. All in all, a nice place to live!

Most unprofessional strata. This place is a poster child of modern ghetto. Rat infested and full of rude unfriendly people. Nothing works here. Avoid at all cost.
